Hire a pack of mules before you use them. They will provide you a guaranteed cost and when your goods arrive they'll raise the price and refuse to take your things off the truck until you pay the increased amount. They are by far the worst movers I've used. Called Arpin Headquarters 4 times to complain and they never returned my calls. Very disappointed with this agency considering I've used Arpin numerous times. I'll never use Arpin again!

Wow, so multiple bad reviews and a complaint to BBB is all it takes to get an actual attempt at an apology? What a company! By the way, your "apology" is a total sham. Stop wasting your time trying to make it look like your company has some semblance of customer service, and instead go learn how to ACTUALLY deliver customer service. I brought up about 10 concerns in my experience, and NONE of them have actually been resolved or even legitimately addressed.

Outstanding!This was by far the best company I've used for moving. I've moved several times over the past ten years, so finding the right company was key as the last one I used was a nightmare.  From the moment I spoke with Cheri Child's everything went smoothly.  I had to move from SF to the East Bay into my new home and I had been at the same location for six years so I had a great deal to move.  Cheri was great in helping me coordinate all the details, the movers showed up on time and went above and beyond.  I recommend using Silicon Valley Moving & Storage. The service was excellent and I was charged exactly what I was told I'd be charged.  Great experience all around.

Moving is NEVER easy but if I could give Silicon Valley Moving and Storage TEN stars I would for their help in our move yesterday. Let me start by saying I was "that guy" who thought we would only need 3-4 hours of mover time to complete our move. I was wrong!  From the very beginning Cheri was very patient and helped us to plan our move. She recommended how many boxes we would need and proposed a time block we should plan for. She nailed every detail and checked in during our move to make sure everything was going well on move day.  Our move team included Eddie, Sergio, Alex and Irvin. They arrived ON TIME and they busted their butts every minute they were on the clock. They literally ran from the truck to the house to pick up boxes, wrap and carry furniture and load the truck. Hustling does not describe this crew. They told me what to expect when they arrived. Asked me about fragile items and they even had extra boxes for me when we ran out!!  All in all this was the smoothest moving experience we've ever had.  If you are planning a move. Look no further and call Cheri. This team was friendly, efficient and professional. Thank you and great job!!  George

Very disapointed.. Do not use this company and here is why* Late by 3 hours for pick up and not call from office to explain why I had to call. Some one made a descision to off load other trucks that morning vs being on time to take care of customer* Broke a picture and still hasn't been replaced and it's a week later and still nothing* mis quoting on pricing. Quoted $90 to store furniture for one week to re deliver to new adrdress. Not the case the charge was $200 for storage and $300 for vault storage. I have never heard of a such thing but they got you. What else can you do. They have your furniture and if you want it back you are held hostage to get it* I was promised to get some use picture boxes for pictures. At a reduced rate. Not the case I was charged $8.50 a box X's 32 of them you do the math!* Office support was terrible on returning  phone calls or keeping quotes in line* I had to spend more than $1000 over what I wanted to spendIn closing I wonder if the NFL and the LPGA are aware of these practices since silicon valley movers are their official movers?
