I was very pleased with the 2 man moving crew that came out to help me move my apartment. They showed up early in the morning (per my request to be the first move of the day) and were done in maybe 4 hours or so. They were very pleasant to work with and helped move everything I needed them to, even if my packing job wasn't perfect. When I called Apt Movers to confirm everything ahead of time and ask a couple of questions, they were very helpful and reassuring. I'm sure it depends which crew you get on any given day but I was happy with the way the move went and would definitely call again. A piece of advice? Ask to be first move of the day which minimizes the likelihood that another move could get delayed and impact your timing. Also, if you're able to, try to move during a weekday when streets are likely to be emptier and crews are likely to be less busy.

Beware, this company has many names, but they are all based out of Dallas and Rod Johnson is the owner.  It looks like they change names when they get too many complaints on one name.  They had an A- rating on BBB when I hired them, and 3 weeks later, it is a C+.  I am guessing it will be F- in a couple more weeks.I had to move my mother's stuff from her home to storage.  She had to be out of the house that weekend because the house was being sold.  They scheduled the move for a Sunday afternoon, so I drove in to Houston from Galveston.  When it started getting late and no movers, I started calling. I was told numerous times that yes, they would show up.  After waiting since one, I was finally told at 6:45 that they would need to reschedule to Monday morning.  No consideration for my work schedule, driving 55 mile with gas near $4 a gallon, my wasted time, etc., or the fact I had to go and grovel to a lawyer to get a few extra days to have her out.  I got them to reschedule for Wed.  This time they did show up.If you want a reliable moving company, avoid these guys at all cost.

Do not use this company!!!!They arrived 2 hours early when I specifically stated 1pm and then tried to charge me for the time. My move took 35 minutes longer than expected so one would assume if I'm paying $120 an hour I would owe an additional $60/$70. Wrong, the movers tried to tell me I needed to pay an additional 2 hours or $240. After questioning this and calling into the main line he quickly changed the price to $65. After unpacking everything I realized my glass to the side table was missing and was left on the truck. I followed the instructions to submit a claim for reimbursement but my claim/request went unanswered. After 5 weeks and multiple emails/phone calls I was finally able to receive my payment. This company is a joke and I highly recommend using someone else. 1 star is too much for this company.

This company doesn't even deserve one star. I paid a deposit and scheduled my move for 1pm. All seemed well when I spoke to Quincy over the phone, he even mentioned being given a gift card for writing agood review about the company. Well he scheduled my move for the morning after I told him I couldn't move into my new place until 1pm, the confirmation e-mail said morning even though we discussed noon or shortly after. I called and was assured the movers would be at my place after noon. I then received anothe e-mail from Tim B. asking if we were still on for 6:30 am and to respond to the e-mail which I did confirming again for 1pm. He called the morning of moving day at 8 am to let me know the guys had one move ahead of me and I should get a call by 11 am from the crew to let me know when to expect them. That call didn't come until aftet 2pm and when the 2 man team showed up at 3:30 it took a good 20 mins to park the trailer, at one point the driver exited then reentered the complex just to park the trailer correctly because driving forward and reversing back was just too difficult. Before even looking at the amount of my belongings I was asked if I pulled out enough money for at least two extra hours, after saying no he asked to look at how much I had to move. One bed, treadmill, couch ,plus 10 boxes is what I had and was told it would take AT LEAST 2 hours just to load my things, and since they were late we would be sitting in traffic making the 40 min drive even longer =more $$$$. Then I was made an offer to have them move my belongings without going through the company. At this point I declined their services. I hired a different company, and my things were loaded in 1 hour and the whole move took less than 3 hours. When I received a call from Tim B. asking what happened he sounded irritated and spoke over me when I tried to explain, after asking for my deposit back he said no, I let him know that I hired them based on good reviews but they would not be receiving a good one from me he yelled stating to go on ahead and he didn't care. I then spoke to Tim H. the regional manager and it was clear it would be my word against Tim B.'s because he found it hard to believe that Tim B. would act that way. The email asking if we were "on for 6:30 am" raised some suspicion but in order to get my deposit back I would have to email him with all the emails to and from the company.  Instead I am taking time out to warn potential customers to go with a more professional company!!! The Apt. Movers can have my deposit, clearly they need it more.

I'm just going to copy the e-mail I sent to the company, and I still have not received a response. These people are thieves and will rob you blind. Hello Miss Campbell, I would like to make a claim regarding my move yesterday. During the move a nightstand was damaged and also my dining room table was damaged. Since everything was moved into storage there is no telling what else was damaged because of how my items were mishandled. I was also charged fifty extra dollars and not given a receipt at the end of the move. The charged the extra fifty  to move some extra boxes which I didn't mind paying for, but I also traded them moving the flat screen tv and a big chair with an ottoman if they would move one small bookshelf. One of the men also said that he wanted to take the chair and ottoman since I was going to put it by the dumpster and I agreed.  All my boxes marker fragile seemed to get knocked around harder and one of the workers was especially rude and made me feel like he was doing me a giant favor by providing the service I had already paid your company in CASH to provide since no banks were open on Sunday for me to get a money order. Your company also provided this service a day late with no regret or apologies. The table and nightstand were broken in front of my eyes. There is no argument that it was their fault. They did not wrap any  items as your company promised and I feed terribly abused as a customer and also take advantage of. I would also like to speak to your general manager regarding the services provided.My complaint is that I was promised a moving crew on Sat June 30th between 1-6. They called several times to announce that they were running late, and that they would for sure be there to complete my move that night since my lease ended at midnight on June 30th. After calling your company more than 12 times and being on hold for over an hour, I had to deal with an agent who thought the entire situation was humorous and was very unprofessional during the times he thought I was not listening to the conversation he was having with his coworkers when I placed him on hold since I was trying to find another company to move my items. No one was in contact with me until 9pm on Friday night, only to inform me that they were not coming and would be there first thing In the morning and that I would be given a priority pass.  Keep in mind that at this point it was 9pm and no one was available. He placed me on hold again for another thirty mins and then said a manager would call me back in five to ten mins. I was forced to call in sick at my job, and missed an entire day of work because when the movers did show up at 8:30am they forgot to move the dresser and box-spring in the master bedroom. In addition to having to calling in sick, because I was still in the apartment unit past midnight on Saturday June 30th is when my lease had expired, I was charged a full month's rent. I called your company multiple times for hours and was promised that the movers would return to move the forgotten items to the storage unit which was less than a mile from the apartments location. No one showed up and when it was 6pm, I called your company again and spoke with a manager who seemed very unconcerned with my current dilemma. I feel like I have been treated like complete crap even after I have paid your company for a service that you only provided in part. I believe that I have a legitimate claim and if the issues are not addressed in a timely manner I will have no problem taking this matter to a small claims court.  Please call me at your earliest convenience. In regards to this case my move code is 1070828.I would also like the e-mail of your manager.Thank you kindly
