I would give these guys a Zero if they had one. They are the worst, these guys should be sued. Corporate is based out of Dallas and they hired 3rd party movers and then during my move back in April 2014, they broke my $300 desk and $70 breakfast table glass piece. I reported them to Apartment Movers and they said it takes 3 months to go through the system. During that time, I called them at least 40 times. At first i had to deal with 1 persons in charge of "Claims" and then 1-2 months later, it was another person in charge, and then after 6 months i was finally passed to the 4th person to take care of things and they said they can only pay out .60 cents on each pound of the broken items - "its the state law" - B.S. Anyhow the lady say i sent out the check. Its been 4 weeks and nothing in the mail. Whenever I called to leave messages and left my cell phone or email, I never got 1 return or followup call. These guys are professional stealers and will not return your money for the things they broke. What people need to do is hire these guys and just don't pay them in the end. That would be deserving of this business. They lead you on and string you a long and don't pay. They really should be shut down as a business. It seems that this is the normal way of them doing business. So because they did not pay, i called the guy who moved my stuff and he said that he was withheld pay by "The Apartment Movers" and here they are also not paying me for my broken items. Do use these guys ever!!! They are based up in Dallas and hire 3rd party people here in Houston to move your stuff and take no responsibilities. HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. To this day i still haven't gotten my Claim.

I am glad some of you had good luck with this movers, my experience was horrible! I was told by Jennifer who I spoke with and emailed a number of times before my move, that they would be there Sunday 22 at 7am from a retirement community in Willowbrook so I needed to be finished before the seniors got busy moving about. I asked Jennifer Pettit a number of times it they could come Sunday 22th at 7am, she said yes a number of times! 7:15am Sunday I called and was told by Mr "rude Ted" @ 713 975-0000, T E D (he had to spell his name out like I was an idiot), said "Jennifer" shouldn't tell people that because they don't get into the office until 7am and were an hour from me! That is not my fault, that's what she told me and my paper said the same! He called back about 7:39am with a better attitude saying they would get there about 8:30am. Ok I waited patiently. I got a call about 8:48am 12 minutes away and here comes a red Avalanche with the most hideous looking trailer attached! Robert Martin the "rider" was trying to direct the driver how and where to park, he was hollering to the top of his voice like he was crazy! After finally parking, they opened the door of the trailer and it was so ugly and nasty looking inside, my patience was at it's peek! They came to the apartment to assess the move, I thought, and this idiot Robert says, we can't move anything until the bill is paid, I told him "Jennifer" told me that before they unload my things at the new place I would pay, not only that, they charged $12 additional for cr card fee, something else lying Jennifer didn't inform me of! That Robert I wanted to put a sock in his mouth, he was walking up and down the corridor hollering and screaming at Bryan who was a sweety! We asked him at least 7 times to quiet down because seniors where there, many sleeping but that request was not possible with him! He pulled out a pack of cigarettes, I told him you can't smoke here, he said I'll go out side, I said no where on the grounds, then he said I will go across the street, I mean really you are already 2 hrs late and gone smoke while moving my furniture? The 1st items they took down was 1 kitchen chair, each! It took them 2 hours to move a small kitchen table, simple bed & dresser, living room suit! Bryan the driver was verbally abused the entire move I just can't see how he took it! They also put about 12 scratches on the front door because the idoit Robert would not listen when Bryan was trying to tell him it was scraping the door, I hope I'm not charged for! It was Bryan's 1st move with Robert, I would have drove off and left him standing! After move was finished, I was asked to rate move, I told him I needed more space to put my response and refused to sign it!Pros....Robert and Bryan were very good packers, the items were very neatly stored in the excessively worn bald-tired trailer!MLHoustonTX

I could just cut & paste K.T.'s review, because that is basically what happened to me. And I would also give Zero stars if I could.Long story short, they damaged two items of furniture. Then they strung me along after I filed a claim for damages. Now, they don't even return my emails. It's now been 4.5 months since I moved.They also showed up in a decrepit moving van that was too small to hold all my furniture, with contract workers who hinted for a tip more than once.Stay away from them at all costs.

Had an appointment for 10 AM to get moved by the apartment movers. Kept calling and calling because they never showed. Every time they said theyd be there in one-two hours. It became 5PM and still nos how until the mover actually turned off their phone!We ended up getting a UHaul and doing it ourselves. Absolutely HORRIBLE. Avoid at all costs. This made the move super stressful. Will be reporting to better business bureau.

well I see there is another Ted B writing reviews but here goes... I called this company again to move some additional items, and they brought out that big trailer that you see in the photos,and it was bright red, nice logos, very professional looking. I admit, I had worried about that... they had lots of pads and even shrink wrap. must have painted it after all these years on the 610 loop! these guys rock! If I can post a pic I took on my phone I will, just don't let the reviews fool you. most people on move day got an attitude with the crew, I learned that already, and these guys are moving your stuff! wow, great service again from the Apartment Movers, very professional, called, texted throughout the day to let me know when they would arrive. if you want to move call this company, get your stuff ready, order them a pizza and satisfaction is on the way. they even take a credit card deposit when I booked the move, so I thought that kind of guaranteed the movers would arrive. great company
