I inherited a house from my grandparents and decided to move to my new crib. I had been putting this off for a few years as the idea of shifting to a new place haunted me, however this time I had no option as my new job required me to move to the same city the house was in. While I was mentally ready to make the move, there was still some issues. I didn't know where to start. Of course, I couldn't pack, deliver and unpack everything on my own. I had heard of moving companies, but I had no personal experience so I didn't know who to call.So, I called my best friend who happens to know a lot about moving companies. I explained my situation to him and asked for recommendations. My friend without wasting a breath, recommended me to hire Moving Stars Inc.. According to him, these people were experts at moving fragile items, heavy items. Since I trust my friend, I decided to go with his choice without doing my own research.I called the company and had a long conversation on the phone where we discussed about the items that I wanted to move. They also gave me background information on the company, including the kind of packages they have, the kind of clients they serve and how they make such a big move possible. The guy on the phone kept on listening to me as I bombarded questions over him. He was very kind and patient. After listening to my requirements, he answered each one of my questions and walked me through everything. After discussing on the quote and the dates, we finalized the deal. A skilled team with a large moving truck were at my doorstep on the moving day.These guys did everything professionally. They loaded my furniture, some appliances carefully into the truck and even wrote down the name of every little piece they loaded. My moving experience was hassle free and stress free. I had nothing to worry about, thanks to Moving Stars Inc.. They also took special care of fragile items that were properly packaged and marked.They even helped me set up everything at my new home as well. I didn't expect them to be this very helpful. These guys really know how to win a customer's trust because they sure won mine. If I have to move ever again, I'd hire Moving Stars Inc. in the blink of an eye.

movers showed up 4 hours late for our move. They were supposed to arrive between the hours of 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on June 30th. They showed up to the delivery address opposed to the pick up location. They were then rerouted to the pickup address the truck they showed up in was too small. We had to wait an hour and a half for a larger truck to show up. The delivery truck did not make it to the delivery location until almost midnight. And they were not finished unloading until 1:30 in the morning on July 1st. Your delay cost me an additional $45 in rent and your company was fully aware that we had to vacate  by midnight June 30th.You damaged my TV and to add insult to injury your movers left sweat stains on my walls and furniture. Don't use!!!!!

Moving is usually not a pleasant experience and can turn a lot worse if you choose the wrong moving company. I had once fallen prey to a 'good for nothing' moving company ruining my whole experience. It didn't only cost me money but also wasted my precious time. However, it was my fault too. I didn't do any research and hired the company in a blink. A couple months ago, I had to move again and I made sure that this time I picked the right moving firm. I ran a search on yelp and came across a dozen moving companies but I was hell bent on picking one that actually did what it promised.I invested some hours and read reviews for all the companies I had shortlisted and founded Moving Stars Inc. on the top. Their customers reviews were the most satisfying and their website convinced me the most as it was nicely made and looked professional. So, without wasting any time, I gave them a call and explained my situation. The phone conversation I had with one of their representatives did half my work as they inquired about all the stuff that I wished to move. They also introduced me to their different packages that were all very unique. Additionally, they had add-ons as well, making them the one-stop shop for all things related to moving. This speaks of their honesty because the company I previously moved with, charged me with extra services without asking me and it skyrocketed my bill.Moving Stars Inc. were pros at everything they did, from disassembling my bed and dresser to stacking up my crockery in various boxes;,everything they did was smooth and done with special care. And to be honest, I didn't have to do a single thing but just stand there and watch them work like professionals.All the items were categorized and labeled and they even maintained an inventory list for verification purposes. Seeing this, I came to realize how big of a disaster my previous moving experience was!My goods were moved on the set date and arrived on time as well. Again, I didn't had to do anything. They unpacked everything, tallied the list and made sure nothing was broken. Fortunately, everything was safe and secure.I couldn't ask for much within such reasonable rates. Moving Stars Inc. are indeed one of the best moving companies I have ever worked with and I would hire them every time I decide to move.

I wish I could give this place zero with stars. Please, please stay clear of this company. I promise you I am saving you from unexpected cost, poor customer service, property damage, and the overall pain of moving. I was told the movers would show between 2-4. Movers arrived at 5p. Took 30 minutes for the move to start. Two men crew with one new person. The head driver talked on the phone the entire time to his girlfriend. He did not assist until it was time to take down the beds. Please note the move was for a two bedroom apartment, to a storage 0.9 miles from the apartments. I asked for the screws to my bed. The driver advised there were no screws and the bed was damaged. I purchased my bed from star less than a year ago. I took pics as I'm not sure of the type of tools used to take the bed apart. I can say he was able to cut the screws. I asked the other young man what happen to the screws from my other bed and he stated he did not know. I took pics as I plan to fight the charges.I provided bed covers, mirror covers, couch covers. However the mover would not listen to me. Never used the covers. I still have the items in the package. My boxes were damaged as a result of glass items stacked on top of clothes. Please note all boxes were labeled. Arrived to the storage and advised the driver to stack the mattress against the larger wall to ensure space. This guy would not listen or possibly did not hear because he was still on his phone. Please not the time of arrival to the storage was 930p. My items where thrown into the storage. The other worker stated, the move was not going in a good direction and the items would not fit. The storage unit was full and improperly stocked. My TV's never made it to the unit. I ended up calling law enforcement at 1117p after I advised that I was not paying for services as a result of price gauging and in-experienced workers. The customer service rep gave me a 10% discount. I had to accept in order to get my things as the driver would not release my property. Law enforcement could not believe we were moving all that time, and simply could not believe the state of my storage when he saw it. He advised not to let things end there and file my complaint. A manage would not call me back I only spoke to the dispatcher who offered the 10%. Please stay away from this company. The absolute worst experience of my life and I have relocated out of Houston with a better experience. I will contact management first thing in the morning. My move time for a 2 bedroom apartment was 5p-1146p. Totally unsafe for a single woman. Improvided
