I want to give them a zero star. Where to begin...I called them & had them come out to make sure they have me an accurate estimate. I went with them because they were cheaper sometimes cheaper is not always best. The rate did go up from the home visit about 200/300 more. There were red flags & I ignored it no one called to tell me what time they were coming the week of so I was contacting them. When they arrived to my home on 6/16/2016 they looked over my home & basically he said that David didn't measure it correctly that this makes the 3rd time he has done this & he might get fired for this. In my heart I felt like they are running g a scam. Cause he showed his crew & came up with the same thing. Before he called dispatch he knew that they'll probably give me a discount of $100. I asked him for the dispatcher number he said he couldn't give me that information. I'm like really I tried to call of course no one answered the phone because they didn't come in til 9 / 9:30. I spoked to a guy named Rommy he tried to explain & basically said what the other said about 100 off. They both said its up to me if I still wanted to use them or not cause the price was going up about $750. I didn't mind paying more but I lost my trust in that company. I told them I'll try to get someone/ let me see what to do. They said they'll sit outside & wait around. I even contact David. I recently lost my husband about 3 months ago so I was very emotionally. However a smart lady always have a back up plan this wasn't my first rodeo & I don't trust people. I've learned a long time to have a plan A& B thanks to the military life. I called another company & they packed & stored everything the next day. So I'm at peace & all I can say is thank you Royal.

I could not be more disappointed with the service provided by Royal.  The movers and employees were very kind, but they did a terrible job.  During our move from Dallas to Tampa, they broke our work desk, glass-top kitchen table, and numerous other household items.  They chipped my headboard and entertainment center.  They also neglected to deliver my dog's bed "because it didn't match the couch."  In other words, they thought it was a couch cushion and just left it on the truck, even though it was labeled and with all my other stuff.  The driver offered to "return the tip we gave him and his drivers" to make up for it.  We said no and requested he send our dog's $250+ bed back.  Three weeks later, we finally got it.In addition to that, the actual cost of moving was more than $1,200 over their original quoted price.  Their pricing is a total scam to get in the door, then you are stuck with them if you are in a time crunch.If that wasn't enough, the claims company you have to go through to file your damaged goods claim is horrific.  It is called Anthem Claims Management.  They require you to print and mail pictures along with hard-copy forms filled out.  On top of that, they take several months to get anything back to you, and don't keep you updated throughout the process.  With all the headache and extensive damage to my belongings, they sent me a whopping $66.  Yes, you read that right.  $66. The value of the items damaged was well over $1,000.  I strongly advise finding another mover especially if you plan on moving across state lines.

They gave one quote of 2300 , then without the lawn mower, two complete bedroom sets and washer and dyer it went to 1800 . On the day of the move, they showed up and wanted to charge me 3800 dollars . With the closing on my home the next day we really had no choice. We had called and said we had extra boxes , but no where near the room the other stuff would have taken . The driver told us they only guess at the quote, the person I spoke to on the phone said if the quote is wrong it's their fault , when I told the Manager that , he just about called his own people liars .Run,  don't walk, away from these guys .

Welcome to the Worst moving company on the planet.   If they call you Hang up, if you get an email hit Delete.  I could write a book on the WORTHLESS  company they are.  I have never worked with a bunch of incompetent people in my whole life.  They hire contractors to deliver your stuff,  when you finally get it it's missing or broken.  They don't care cause you have to pay them cash first before they unload the truck.   Then you send a claim to Anthem Claim Management which takes a 1/4 of a year to process your claim for Nothing.   Please take your business elsewhere.  Trust me there not worth your time.   You're better off renting a U Haul and doing it yourself.  Then you'll know that your stuff will be handled safe.   I can't say enough BAD things about this so called company.
