This is the absolute WORST moving company that I have ever used. The office staff are not only unorganized, and inconsistent, but they are also RUDE. David should needs training on his customer service, and he needs to learn to not talk to PAYING CUSTOMERS like they are stupid. I booked a moved with them to move across the country and had to cancel just a few days before my big day because they were not able to be contacted. No one follows up in a timely manner. It typically takes them 3 days to respond to voicemail and emails. On top of cancelling the move, the movers STILL showed up to my house and were banging on my door at 7:30AM. The only good experience i've had with them is that the gentlemen that showed up to my house were very polite and professional. If I were you, I'd use someone else. The only reason I chose this company is because it seems like a small time operation, and I like to support local business, but that was a huge mistake. This experience was a disgrace!

DO NOT USE. This company was horrible.  The unloaders forced me to pay upfront upon drop off holding my goods hostage and claiming to take them away if I did not pay immediately with an extra $175 charge on top of an extra $200 charge for pickup. THIS IS ILLEGAL. It was handled in such a hostile manner and they were so rude and yelling at me claiming to run away with my things. Not mention so careless. A painting was broken AND they scratched my roommates $500 kitchen table because they were SO careless.I'm not done yet.  I was promised 3 men, and only received 2. In my books I should get a 33% REFUND because I was missing 1.3 of the service I paid for. They will seem nice and professional on the phone but in reality they are horrible. Don't use them period.  Money Scam.  In addition, the person who quoted me, Vince, conveniently left out my dresser and the fact that I told them I did not have an elevator (yet he charged me an elevator fee). Company lost many of my items in my recent move from Texas! Containers with my electronics, speakers, cds/dvds, etc and a wall photo are missing. My bike was taken apart and now the seat is broken, my floor lamp, printer, and other items are broken. All of my items were thrown unto a truck like trash. When the movers opened the truck, items were falling out!The move took between November 15 through December 2. Company changed the drop-date several times over 2 days, making me miss work. After they loaded the items, they even wanted a tip after I told them my items were missing and they didn't have an explanation. I've called the company several times and still have not heard where my items are, but was told to complete a form about broken items. I was told that if they find them, they will send them. Yeah right!

I just used this service for my cross-country move. Not only were the workers (Erick & Oscar) friendly but they really took the time to explain everything to me and answer all of my questions. It's been very stressful organizing and preparing for this move but their courteous dispositions, manners, and over all great customer service skills made the task of getting my stuff taken care of so much easier. It's a shame I am leaving Texas, otherwise I would have no hesitation about calling on their services in the future! 10-star service!

Royal Moving & Storage moved us from Plano to the Bay Area, and also kept our entire household in storage for five months before the delivery.  At move out, I thought that the movers did a very good job wrapping up the furniture, and they were friendly and professional.   At delivery, the team was also professional and friendly.   I notified the company 2 weeks before my desired delivery date, and they arrived on time, as arranged (there was a 3 day delivery window, and they delivered within that window). Only a few furniture items had some minor damage, but I think that a few nicks comes with the territory of moving.  In general, our belongings arrived safe and sound.I feel that this company is very honest.  They gave us a fixed price quote and stuck to the agreement, despite it turning out that we had more stuff (volume) than they had estimated at the in-home quote.The general manager, Owen, is very responsive by text message, phone and email.  Tom is also very friendly.  Tom gave us a referral to an excellent auto transport company as well (they are not all equal for sure). I would use this company for moving again.
