I used Exodus Movers for my move this month.  The movers did a great job!  All of my belongings arrived in one piece.  The movers made sure the furniture was moved in just the right spot.  They were timely and extremely polite.  I will be sure to recommend their services.

I'm super disappointed in our experience with Exodus. This was part 1 of a 3 part move: moving my mother's stuff from her house into storage. For starters, we were promised a 4 man crew and only 3 men showed up. When my mom asked, she was told "it's okay, we'll only charge you $99 an hour for three men" when the website advertises $89 for 3 men. She called them out on it and they agreed to the lower rate. Fine. The real problem are the fees. $20 per roll of shrink wrap, which she wasn't advised of until 5 rolls in. She ended up trading her washer and dryer for the shrink wrap. Then, at the end of the day, a $118 fuel charge was added. The storage unit is less than a mile from the house. So that means the fuel charge must have been for travel to and from her house from their office. Which means they knew about the fuel charge when she booked them but failed to mention it. And, as she had also told them she may need packing help, she should have been advised of the shrink wrap fees up front too. They also charged 4% to pay with credit card, which she was not informed of. And they don't take checks. If we had been told of the fee, we would have paid cash. As with any privately owned company, you have the right to charge whatever fees you want. But the customer should be advised up front what those fees will be. Waiting until you're there or, in this case, halfway done with the move, to start advising of fees and using that to try to get an old woman's appliances crosses the border into shady. We are in the process of buying a house. We are combining houses and have two more moves to do in the next two months. After today, I guarantee those moves won't be with Exodus.

I helped a friend move last weekend who used this service. The movers were very nice, but they broke every single light shade she owned. They took from 8:30am-2:30pm to move her across town. They stopped the clock at 1pm and because of that refused to do anything about her lampshades. One of the movers picked up a backpack when they were packing up her apartment and asked if they could have it for their son. The whole experience was very strange. The cost to move a one bedroom apartment across town ended up being $500 and 6 hours with three guys. I've would recommend ABC Movers, Two Men and a Truck or All My Sons.

I called this company only because a friend recommended them. I gave them a 19 day notice before my move and asked for 3 movers. They were supposed to be at my house at 2pm. The guy calls at 2:37 to let me know they are on another job and running late and his team has 4 guys. I told him I made an appointment for 3. Then he tells me the 3 men crews are all busy. And it will be $109 per hour. What I signed on for was 3 for $89 per hour. He said that's life you have to deal with it. I said no cancel this appointment. Then he calls me 10 minutes later to say that he'll do it for the 3 guy price. So I said fine because I really needed to be moved before 5. So they show up at 3:30pm. 4 guys I helped them move most of my stuff out of the garage with my dad because they all looked so over worked and I felt bad for them. Then they get my furniture items in the truck and ask if I need anything else. I said no lets just go because it was so late already. They get lost following me and waste time and I text the driver my address and he apparently didn't get it until days later. So I talked to him on the phone to follow me to my apartment. Finally he finds me and they start unloading my things. They put stuff everywhere, all my wood furniture was scratched. My book case had a piece missing too. So finally he wants to take the payment and he keeps asking me do you want to pay for 3 movers or 4? Like totally going against what we had agreed upon. He charged me for 4 and left. This was the most stressful move I've ever experienced. I had to move everything to the room that it needed to be in myself. The whole point of spending money on moving is so you doing hurt yourself and it's easier. Well that wasn't the case here. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I recently used exodus to move into my new apartment. When I called it was really a fast and easy process. When the movers showed up, they came right on time. They took really good care of all my belongings and I didn't have a worry in the world. I would highly recommend them!!!
