They were on time, courteous, wrapped all of my things with blankets, were extremely careful and moved all of my things 30 miles away in under two hours. For FREE! I'm never going to use anyone else for my moves again.

If I could they would be a 0/no stars, or negative.  The absolute WORST and most unprofessional movers I have ever dealt with in my life.  I just moved from TX to CA and my movers never showed up.  They were supposed to be there at 8am, there it is 8:30 and no call (they usually call when they are on the way).  I called the office and was lied to saying they guys are already on the way.  Another hour goes by and still no one has called or showed.  I called the office again numerous times before someone would answer and the manager said he thought the guy was on the way and gave me his number.  We continued calling the mover directly with no answer or return phone call.  The office then stopped answering my phone calls and no one was calling me back.  I left another message stating I am moving out of state, it's a long drive, they need to find someone else in their company our outside to move me.  Finally 3 hours after the scheduled time another group of guys showed up.  Still no word back from the office/manager and no discount.  It was a nightmare.  I would NEVER use them again and suggest the same for anyone else considering them.  I would suggest AB Movers or ABC Moving Co. which were both very good.  Although anyone would be better than this unprofessional team.

I've been thinking about my experience, and I had to review.  The movers showed up late, and like someone else mentioned, they showed up with an extra guy, which I had not booked.  I was told that this would be better, and the move would go faster.  I agreed, but the move did not go faster.  I was confused by the tactics.  The guys would carry, one or maybe two boxes down to the bottom of the stairs, and then put them on a dolly to move them them to the truck.  This process took much longer than anticipated.I was out on the balcony smoking, when I saw them drop my entertainment consol over.  They had put it on the automatic lift on the back of the truck, and I watched as it toppled over.  I watched as they all looked over at me on the balcony, and I was really at a loss for words.They were not at a loss for words when some random guy drove by, stopped and started talking to the movers.  And they all stopped and were conversing back.  I'm paying by the hour, and these guys are taking a break to hang out and talk to some random dude???The guys were going so slow, I began to move the boxes out of the back bedroom to the front.  They picked up the pace a bit after that, which was a nice change.  After about 2 1/2 hours, the head guy in charge came up, and said, "I got all the big stuff, the truck is full..." implying I'd have to move the rest myself.  I was mad and told them to just pack up and go to the house.We got to the house, and they did not hook up the washer and dryer, which I had asked and paid for.  Also, they were not putting the boxes where I asked.  At the end, I just told them to drop the boxes in the front dining room, figuring I'd move them to the correct location myself.  I hope that I do not have to move soon, and if I do, I will not be using Exodus.

I had several issues with my move this weekend that are driving this one star review.First, when I scheduled the move they said 8 am, then when the confirmation call came it was 'between 8 and 9".  Okay, not a big deal, but it was much closer to 9 when they showed up.Second, I agreed to 3 movers at a set price, but when they showed up there were 4 movers and they demanded another $30 an hour.  Awkward.  What was I supposed to say?  No, the fourth guy can't work?  So there was another $100 on top of what I had budgeted right off the bat.Third, it took for-freaking-ever.  I've learned my lesson, pay by the job, not by the hour.  We had movers move all the stuff in our last move in 2 hours, and it was just two guys and a teenager.So overall not my finest move.  I know who I won't be using next time.

The only reason I'm only assigning 5 stars is because that's the max YELP will allow!  Exodus moved us two weeks ago and I can't express how happy we were  with the overall move.  This is our 2nd move with EXODUS and we will definitely use them again. The movers were PROMPT & PROFESSIONAL.  Bobbie (the owner) visited to confirm everything was A-ok and provided white-glove service.  Their prices are competitive and they have great flexibility for complex moves.Consider them for your next move--you won't be disappointed!
