Please think twice. My representative (Mario) seemed so professional and sincere on the phone. When things started getting questionable with the company as promised fell through and prices continued to rise, I never heard from Mario again. I was bombarded by mindless automated emails that requested information they already had or additional signatures they already had. Basically communication fell apart. I was guaranteed by Mario that Condor could beat the price I was quoted by "PODS" - where I had my household goods stores. The short version of the story is that I needed up paying about 20-30% more than the PODS quote even after I flew to TX to sell and give away at least half of the items in the "PODS" container. One more example of the lack of professionalism on the part of Condor is that they constantly tried avoid using credit cards as payment because they didn't want to pay the merchant surcharge to the credit company. In this day and age? That is just a cost of doing business. I was told I would have at least 24 hours notice before my items were delivered. I received 12 hours notice. The driver at delivery was pleasant and professional, but arrived alone.  He had no crew to move my items in to storage. I ended up having to help him with the larger items that one person could not safely move. Some items arrived damaged. I'm not optimistic about being treated fairly when or if I am reimbursed for damages.

Worst moving company around! They will break, damage and scratch your BRAND NEW, UNLIVED IN HOUSE and blame you for it! They will scam you and promise to "make it good" and then they will dodge your phone calls. They literally BLACKMAIL you and tell you to write them a good review in order for them to get you just a little bit of money back. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD! Do not use them unless you want to lose a lot of money! This company is so disheartening and dishonest is pathetic!

This summer when my husband landed his dream job in Seattle, we knew we didn't want to move out our 4-bedroom house in Dallas and travel with it for almost 3,000 miles.  This was our first experience with hiring movers. Hubby had to move almost immediately after receiving his job, so I handled most of the move logistics myself. Now, I had no idea what I was doing. I talked to soooo many moving companies. I had six come out to the house to give me an estimate, but emailed and talked over the phone with a lot more than that. Since I didn't know a whole lot about moving companies, I figured I'd learn something with everyone I talked with....I wasn't just being crazy...right?When Condor came to do my home estimate, they were the first company that came out that I actually liked. They were personal, friendly, and they generally cared about their clients. Amit, who came out for the estimate, gave me a lot of moving advice that none of the other companies would even skim through. I felt completely comfortable and at ease with him and Condor. Since hubby was gone, that was huge bonus. Forward a few weeks and we're at the weekend of the move. My move was scheduled for Saturday, August 1. I closed on my house the day before, my nephew was being baptized on Sunday, and I had to be out of the house on Monday. Friday rolls around and I get a call saying that they are behind schedule...but instead of moving my move date, which they could have easily done (and I feel like any other company would have), the owner of the company  grabbed a few of their warehouse guys and came out and moved me just so I could get moved on Saturday. I was so impressed with this level of customer service. They truly just want to make their clients happy. Now on to delivery. Our items arrived in the window of time they estimated. The driver called us about 24 hours before they arrived (as promised). They unloaded everything in about two hours asking exactly where we wanted everything. We did have a couple damages - nothing major, but Condor covers your items 100 percent so we're not worried about it and due to their high level of customer service, I know that we'll be taken care of. And really, we moved almost 3,000 miles away and these guys are awesome. I strongly recommend Condor to anyone who is moving. They made the process so much easier. The communication was great - even when I called five times in a week to change items on our quote.  The customer service was excellent. They packaged everything so well. Contact Condor, you won't be sorry!

Used these guys to move up north from Texas. It was the most useless company I have ever done business with. They gave me a quote for the move, by the time my stuff got here I paid 2.5x what the quote was. Yes, I did have more boxes than what I estimated, but guess I was forced to buy the boxes from them because they said I had to have certain things in boxes. When I contacted them about my grievances they took days to respond and were not willing to work with me on the amount extra I had to pay. Many of things showed up broken....I go to file a claim, guess what I have to pay a $500 deductible as well as have receipts from the purchased items that were broken. IF YOU WANT TO GET BENT OVER, USE THIS COMPANY. They are a bunch of crooks. Even the truck drivers told me they see people get taken advantage of all the time. Good luck if you decide to use them, take your quote x2. I contacted the AG as well as the transportation committee in Texas. As you can see by other reviews these guys are truly dishonest. I'm surprised they're still in business.

Do yourself a favor and NEVER use them! We moved from Texas to Wisconsin, which is already stressful enough without such an AWFUL moving experience added on top. I have moved many times, usually on my own with the help of family or good friends and a rented truck. I know how to properly pack boxes, and I individually wrapped every fragile item to hopefully prevent any damage. I also clearly labeled every box that had fragile items in it with "FRAGILE" across all sides of the boxes, literally impossible to miss. Not only was every single box, even the "fragile" boxes, obviously beaten up when it got to our new home in WI, but each fragile box had at least one broken item. Many of my plates and bowls were completely shattered, almost half of my glassware was shattered, a vase, a crockpot (which had obviously been dropped hard enough to shatter the ceramic part, and break off one of the handles), my professional blowdrier had a huge crack down the side with the back piece broken off completely, our rolling pin was partially shattered and had a handle broken off...It looked like they had just thrown the boxes into the truck as hard as they could, or dropped them out of the second story window to the ground. Boxes had holes ripped in the bottoms and sides, and were just generally completely messed up. Not to mention that one of my boxes, filled with at least $200.00 worth of professional beauty and hair supplies for my job, was missing completely. As if that wasn't bad enough, their customer service was also awful. From the day of pickup, I knew we had made a mistake choosing this company, but it was too late at that point. We couldn't be there physically for the pick up, so I had a trusted family member go over to open the doors and watch over the loading of the truck. We had told them multiple times exactly where to park and the shortest and easiest way to get to the apartment. They ignored this (and my family member who also told them where to park and how to get up to the apartment) and parked too far away, and went the harder and longer way around, and then had the audacity to charge us for "extra steps". We're given an estimated delivery date of "sometime between January 6th and February 7th". We were also told that we'd be given at least a few days, if not a full week, of notice before they delivered our items to our new household, which was good because we both had to take off work to be there for the movers. We finally get a call only to be told they'll be here TOMORROW morning! That is not enough notice, especially when we needed to take off work to be there all day! They then show up over 5 hours past the end of the delivery window.When I tried to make a claim of damages and missing items, they made it almost completely impossible. Many of the items we had had for at least a year, and didn't have any receipts or printed proof of purchase anymore. The items weren't able to be repaired, so there was no repair estimate that could be made. For the missing items, again, there was no "proof of purchase" that satisfied their requirements, so I guess I'm out of luck there, too! It got to be such a hassle that it wasn't even worth the effort anymore! I'd rather have driven the moving truck myself the 22 hours to Wisconsin. At least then I'd actually have all of my stuff!
