Worst long-distance moving experience ever. I was assisted by an employee of the company who was very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable of the policy and guidelines. After agreeing to accept the service “ paying the deposit". Unfortunately, the employee who assisted me days later was in a car accident which then lead me to be assisted by the front desk to assist me further. I was quoted $1,519 originally and was ensured the carriers could meet my requested pickup date. Which due to the weather was extended days later. “ Understandable “ due to weather conditions. During this time I then expressed I would be removing/selling items from my inventory. I was advised by both employees that would be more than ok and it would then change my cubit feet usage and lower my cost.

After updating the employee who was replaced by the original adjuster who was in an accident. I was sent an updated binding estimate. Days later I was called by the Business owner who was unbelievably rude, aggressive, and unprofessional explaining she will not change my cost and I would be charged the original price despite me not utilizing the space. “ Fraud “ she then proceeded to “ negotiate “ half the amount I should not have been charged for and then explained my delivery date will not be met. I explained that I was told differently by the two other employees who assisted me. She then explained she cared less and refused to honor what I was originally told. Not to mention the day she rescheduled my delivery date for was a holiday January 1st which then didn’t allow me to have secondary options for transporting my things. Which also caused me to pay an additional $300 to the company for transporting my items. I paid $2,000 for a move I was originally quoted $1,519. All the employees were helpful, kind and assisted me with the policy and guidelines however the owner was unfair, rude, aggressive, and fraudulent. I truly regret choosing this company. Save yourself the headache with this company.

I would like to share my great experience with Condor Moving with my move from Texas to Illinois. I was very concerned about the different reviews I read, but since I had a very tight budget, I decided to go with them anyway.Alicia Beamon took care of me; she was very friendly, we discussed all my concerns openly, and she was willing to include everything discussed in the contract. She was also always available to answer my questions.The pickup and delivery went smoothly. The movers did a great job and were also friendly with us; everything arrived in good conditions.I did not have any extra charges BUT I have to say that I did strictly stay within my initial inventory and that I had absolutely everything packed. They did not help me with anything besides moving my stuff, so I guess I didn't leave them room to extra charges.Friendly staff, good price, and good service!

If I could give this company a negative number of stars, I definitely would. They are by far the utmost incompetent business I ever had to deal with in my entire life. I will start by saying that my belongings were delivered to my new address either missing or in pieces. In scattered order they destroyed: my bed frame (which is bended to to point of not being usable and which I have to throw to the trash), my drying rack, my shoe rack, a mirror (scattered into a thousand pieces), my TELEVISION (needs to go to the trash too); my chest of drawers is MISSING along with A BOX!!! My tv stand is also damaged and God knows what other surprises I am going to get as time goes by and I realize other items are missing. Condor was supposed to deliver my belongings on August 15th and they showed up on September 6th--a time in which I slept on the floor and with all the discomforts that not having my belongings entails. I had to struggle to have them to pay a ridiculous $15 per day penalty fee for they lateness, which amounts to $60 only because they came up with a bunch of RIDICULOUS excuses not to pay the entire sum (including that I WAS the cause of their delay because I was gone on Labor day weekend--whereas they had told me that they might have delivered during the days I was gone to my own risk because they could not make arrangements to deliver while I was there). They are a ridiculously incompetent business and when I called to ask them to AT LEAST look for my items they said it might take weeks and knowing them I have absolutely zero hope they are going to find anything at all. PLUS, they have this $500 deductible and they require: 1) PROOF OF PURCHASE of the lost/damaged item in order to issue a refund, 2) to keep the damaged item at home until they solve the issue (which for large, damaged items is a huge hassle, especially if you do not have a garage). This policy to me sounds like a big "screw you" to their poor devil customers. DO NOT HIRE THEM. Do yourself a BIG HUGE favor. They propose a cheap quote but do not bet on it because they come up with a bunch of extra fees. I once called their customer care service (which I would rather call a customer "uncare" service) and this very rude lady attacked me like I was her worst enemy because I was kindly asking her explanation on an unexpected $150 bill. RUDE and UNPLEASANT. On top of the stress of moving from one State to a new one, Condor Moving Systems is the last thing you need. Take your business elsewhere.

We hired Condor to move us from Houston to Washington state with a brief storage period. Two of the three men sent to our home to wrap and load my furniture were among the best I have seen in our many moves. The third fellow had just started that day and needed lots of direction. Their truck was well packed before they left.My furnishings were transferred at their warehouse to Mayflower for shipment to Washington without our knowledge. The truck that arrived was chaotically packed and the movers, other than the driver, were just Ok by comparison with the pick up. Somewhere they managed to break the leg on one of my old and valuable dining room chairs, scratch up other pieces unloading and break a glass table top. I had more damage than in all the previous moves. My guess is the chair fell in the truck from where it was loaded as the truck was loaded haphazardly from what we observed.The claim process is photos, estimates and deductibles so good luck. Bottom line, if they are the only ones who will be handling your furnishings, they are good and fairly priced. Beware if they transfer it to another carrier for shipment and delivery.

Absolutely horrible service, I would give them negative stars if it was possible. To start, they are so friendly and have amazing customer service, letting you know that your stuff will be well taken care of and will arrive on time in great condition.To put it frank, it only got worse. I scheduled my move months in advance and kept being told that the stuff will arrive on a certain date +\- 1 or 2 days, which I understood. A few weeks before I called again and they told me not to worry, the truck is going to be loading soon. A few days before they said a truck is loading now. Come to find out it was a bunch of lies, my stuff didn't arrive for nearly 9 days after its scheduled date. It was so frustrating because the people on the phone kept lying.I was tired of the horrible customer service so I asked to speak to a manager. With an attitude the guy said "I am the manager" and was telling me how I'm wrong and his employees would never lie to a customer. With disrespect at an all time high, I asked for the higher up manager, at this point he said he was the CEO. I was dumbfounded! I said I was going to write a horrible review because of the terrible service and he threatened me that he was going to send his lawyers after me if I wrote a bad review, shocking!! Then after he continued to get heated he HUNG UP THE PHONE! To my disbelief, I couldn't believe it. A few minutes later the CEO called back apologizing.When my stuff finally arrived, boxes were smashed and frames were broken. I would NEVER EVER recommend this company. I truly hope they go out of business so no one has to go through that.
