Choosing Alpha Movers was a horrible mistakeThey packed us up on Apr 13 and we did not receive our goods until June 27thNo one ever answers the phone or they take your number and never call backItems arrived broken and then they won't answer the phoneWe won't get any money back but at least the satisfaction of warning othersDO NOT CHOOSE ALPHA MOVERS or you will be sorry

Maybe the worst experience of my life. This is NOT different than National Movers PRO of Norcross, GA. I think they changed the name slightly due to the bad reviews.These movers are definitely cheap, but you pay for what you get, and in retrospect, I don't think the headache, stress, and complete disrespect I received was worth it.As other reviewers have mentioned, they will swear up and down that there are no hidden fees, and even when you argue with them about charging you hidden fees, they will tell you that they in fact informed you about the fees, therefore they are not hidden. They will charge you for a "flight" of stairs, not telling you that a flight = 6 steps. Even if they give you a flight for "free", the movers that arrive will not acknowledge that payment. They will wrap your furniture for "free", but do not tell you that furniture does not include things like floor lamps which are "accessories". They will charge you for carrying things over 100 feet in distance, even if they choose to park further from where you ask them to park. They operate in an extremely shady way. When I originally booked them, I was told I could pay in credit card for the entirety of the move. Then, that later changed to I could pay 1/2 with credit card on pick up day, 1/2 with cash that would be paid on date of delivery. When the movers arrived, he said they take cash only. I showed him the email stating explicitly that I could pay with card. He then said they didn't have any credit card slips. I told him that that was his fault so I guess I could not pay him today because I did not have cash available. After that, he magically appeared with some credit card slips.The worst may have been regarding the actual delivery of my goods. I had signed a contract stating the earliest delivery I could get was on 6/29. I get a call from the mover on 6/27 that he would be there to deliver my items the next day, and when I said I was not even in the state yet, he said "Well, I guess I'll bring your stuff back to Georgia and you'll have to wait 3 weeks." This eventually got straightened out, but then they charged me $400 because I was "not available for immediate delivery" and my items needed to be stored. Again, when I complained, they stated this was not a hidden fee as it was mentioned in their contract. I did not think that "immediate delivery" = "delivery on a date customer explicitly said she would not be available for."Finally, the state of my items was a disaster. Multiple items were broken. They even lost my most expensive furniture item. I have not received it or any word of it's existence and it has been over 1 month. I have threatened lawsuit.In the end, I am still fighting for my lost item even though it is more of a headache than it is worth, because I think this company is full of frauds and criminals. Do not trust them. The cheap price is not worth it.

Very bad company, worst customer service. Last minute, they increase the price. You will be helpless. I strongly commanded not to choose this company. No onetime delivery. My things burnt on truck fire. I lost my entire home. They said they are working in Central Standard time, but they work in California time. So you can't contact easily. Please don't go with this company.

Awful company to do business with. Called to schedule a move and then cancelled it, they charged my card anyways and keep insisting that they've refunded my credit card, called the credit card company and no refund (mind you this is 5 days after they say they've refunded it). The main lady Natalie is very pushy not helpful and seems like she's just trying to get your business with no regard for your own rights as a customer. I would not trust these people at all and judging by all the reviews below after the move actually took place it seems like they take forever to actually get your stuff moved in for you. Wish I could rate them with 0 stars because I have had nothing but pure resistance the whole way with this company.

THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. Absolutely the worst experience of my life. I have been promised my furniture for the past 40 days and still NOTHING. Customer service lies, driver's hang up on you, "supervisor's" promise anything to get you off the phone. I won't get into all the detail because its exactly what everyone else said. Added cost to the original quote, my furniture is in a warehouse somewhere, no one knows where it is and no one cares that you don't have it after countless promises of delivery.I always check yelp before I use a company and because of a quick (and small) move I went with the first company that called me back. This was a HUGE mistake!!! COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!! Negative Stars!! I am reporting them to the BBB too. I have never been more disappointed and frustrated with anything in my life.Disgusting business practices. I have been in my new home for over a month with no furniture and very few necessities.Don't walk, RUN away from this company!!!!!
