If I could give ZERO or NEGATIVE stars...this place would still rank lower. WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!! BEWARE: SCAMMERS! As if moving half way across the country isn't already stressful enough...this company really knows how to make the Sh*T hit the fan. If you're starting your search for a moving company and input any information online-- you'll be contacted immediately by many companies trying to sell you on THEIR company. 24 hour moving was one of them and I wish I didn't fall for their lowest quote. I was dealing with Sharon and Sindy (her boss) most of the time. They wanted measurements because they said measuring to the exact cubic foot would be the lowest quote without any wasted space. I sent them descriptions of my furniture with exact dimension AND pictures. I also sent them pics of my boxes and dimensions-- AND the boxes had the dimension cleared written on them from the manufacture which was clearly visible on the photo. Best quote by maybe 75 bucks over competitors..ok sold. DAY OF MOVE: Some young guy comes with movers and actually  measured the hallway and said the movers will only carry it 50ft and wanted to charge me for the addition footage. Then said my boxes are too big and will need to charge more for them. I was like WAIT a MINUTE... I sent her the pictures with dimension and somehow the moron still wrote medium boxes instead of large boxes. How did she even get the exact cubic feet if she didn't look at my numbers?? So had a very long conversation with Sindy and she was able to comp some of it and I had to TIP  the mover generously so he wouldn't report the rest.... SCAM! DAY OF DELIVERY: I had to arrange another company to pick up from 24 hour movers bc my street was too narrow for the 18 wheeler to navigate. OK FINE.. DONE. The 24 hour movers guy ( they contract the move out for cross country moves) calls me the night before and tells me meet him at 3-4pm at the location and he'll let me know specifically the next day. I told him I get off at 2pm so it works. I then get a call at NOON and the mover told me to meet him at 1pm. I told him already I have work till 2pm and he knew it. HE said he didn't care and if I didn't meet me at 1pm then he'll charge me for every hour he's waiting. If I don't pay it..  I wont get my stuff. NOW I'M HOSTAGE!I of couse, called Sindy ..no answer, left messages...no answer.  So I get there at 1pm...his truck is there..but he went to get lunch and didn't arrive until 2pm anyways. JERK. On top of that him and his men were jerks calling me cutie..honey...while joking in their language. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I also never got a call back from Sindy ever or to apologize. Overall I still paid more then what was quoted and they are just scammers. BEWARE!!

They were incredibly rude during the quoting process - i ended up not going with them. they wanted me to have another company come out to do an in home estimate and then send them the list from the other company. After being INCREDIBLY rude on the phone - I decided immediately to go with another moving company. I don't move for another week so hopefully I made the right decision. but i would stay away from these guys.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They say they are not brokers but they actually are. First of all, they call you A MILLION times to harass you until you decide to go with them. Then they give you a "flat rate" quote. When they show up at your house the driver is free to tell you whatever they want. He said that supposedly my apartment was more than 50 feet away from where the truck could park but he refused to actually measure it (he just counted the number of steps and claimed that it was 262 steps which equalled an extra $300!). When I called the guy who had given me a quote, he said that they only give you quotes for what they think it should be but the driver is free to do whatever he wants, WHAT?!Needless to say, they were incredibly rude and insulting to my family. They decided to leave just because we refused to pay that ridiculous amount if he did not have solid proof that it was really 262 feet away. Even though they didn't do the move, they still charge me $350. Luckily I was able to contest it with the bank and got my money back but these people are scammers!TERRIBLE COMPANY!

This was the worst experience for us ever. Please read all the negative reviews carefully before you decide to do business with this company. Most of the negative reviews here share a similar story. We were moving from Dallas to Los Angeles. We got a call from a Sales representative named David Bless. He was a nice guy to talk to but little did we know that the company he was representing was the worst of it's kind. Our experience was great until I faxed over the paperwork committing to have the 24 hour moving company handle our move.I was quoted $1500 and 3 to 5 business days for delivery. We ended up paying $3500 on the day of the move. We simply didn't have a choice but to go with them since we were selling the house and taking a red eye flight the next morning. It's been a week since we moved to LA and our stuff hasn't arrived yet. We called our representative(Mary) when we got here to check on the status and  we were told that it'd take a week longer for our stuff to arrive. Then I called her again today, after a week from the last conversation, we are told that our stuff is still in Dallas and it'd take another week before it gets dispatched from Dallas. She simply said that the driver was out for a while and will get back next week from making a delivery. There were no apologies what so ever and acted like this was just like we should've expected. She told that based on the contract we signed it takes 3 to 14 business days. Do hell with all the fake promises that we were given initially, by both David and Jesus. I highly doubt that it'll even be here in 14 business days, but we'll see. I'll have to share this anecdote as well. On the day of the move, the movers were 5 hours late. Me and my wife had taken a day off because we were told that the movers would be there by 2 pm, but they ended up coming at 7 pm. There were no apologies for being late and they simply wouldn't respond to questions you ask, in other words if you had a question for them they'd just ignore them. Jesus(Hesus), the main guy who was in charge on the day of the move was the rudest person you'll ever meet. When me and my wife were talking about how to proceed considering the fact that we were quoted 3 times more. He said, "Make your decisions quickly, I have to go to other places. I can't wait for you guys all day". This was the same guy who had made us wait 5 hours and he couldn't wait patiently for literally 5 minutes. Also, I asked him to identify which stuff(refrigerator, TV, table) was it that was causing all the expenses, he said(in his own words),"I'm not your personal financial advisor to tell you that, you should do that on your own". Are you kidding me?I am still waiting for my stuff to arrive. It's been almost 10 days since they picked up our stuff and they're saying it's going to leave Dallas in a week. They've lied to us three times so far. I'm not sure if they're going to keep this promise.

Do NOT, do NOT, DO NOT use this company! Worst consumer experience of my life. Total scam, beginning to end. I swore up and down that I wasn't going to leave a bad review or file any claims against them until I got my belongings - which still have not been delivered despite being a full 21 days out from pick-up and weeks beyond what was promised. Got a call today that MAYBE they would be here by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. Please, at this point I have more than come to terms with the idea that my belongings might as well have all been burned in a fire b/c I don't expect them to ever show up at all. Initially, everything seemed great. I had another company cancel on me last minute, so it's a weekend five days before my scheduled move and I'm in a panic. David calls me from 24 Hours Moving with the most ridiculous low ball price. So I get back to him and tell him so, provide a 100% accurate inventory list of my belongings, and estimate goes up by about 3 times what he had originally sent me. Okay, now we're seeming more reasonable. Tells me how they will take great care of me, despite being a cross-country move they are out this way "all the time" and it will be very fast for me to get my stuff. I explain that I have a drop-dead date by which I need my things delivered and am resoundingly assured that will be no problem. I ask if they are a M-F operation and if the 3-14 business days stated in their paperwork really means true business days and am informed that no, they actually work 7 days a week which is rare and seems like good news for me! So in my bind on a Sunday I'm trying to figure out if I should wait for more companies to get back to me only to find out that they can't make my move happen in time or just go with what seems promising in front of me. I was foolish enough to select this company. Do NOT do the same. Movers show up and explain how this is going to go down. Driver/supervisor guy is nice. Has a 4-man crew in tow (so 5 guys total!) and I'm thinking this is going to be a breeze. Everything I could have possibly packed in a box was ready to go in my apartment and I'm thinking they will be out of there in an hour. (Just 6 months prior, I had completed a local move with a 2-man crew and they were finished in 2 hours flat and I was not nearly as well packed or prepared for them!) It ends up taking these fools over 5 hours. Granted, they completely disassembled furniture and wrapped it in blankets, but still... all these guys taking 2.5X as long as 2? Should have known something was up. In the meantime, friendly driver dude gets me started on all their paperwork, seemingly benign enough. Name and address on all this and sign sign sign all these carbon copy documents. DO NOT make this mistake. Turns out, one of the documents he had me sign says I'm allowing them to rescind their binding estimate of prior. Says I'm agreeable to all these new charges. And there were a TON! New cost was upwards of 50% more than what David's final binding estimate for me was. Wow, thanks for "taking care of me" guys. Furthermore, this particular document, friendly driver guy has me write the time on next to me signature. Why is this a problem?Because as I have since found out, by LAW a moving company is not allowed to charge you more than 110% of your binding estimate. If you really have way more stuff than they were expecting when they show up, the solution is that you have to rescind the estimate or they only move the amount of stuff they promised. Well, as I mentioned previously, the inventory I provided for my estimate was EXACT. So EXACT that it is actually LESS than what they ended up listing on their own inventory of items moved. But the federal LAW also says that they must provide you with said new estimate and charges PRIOR to moving your stuff in order for it to be valid. Well, in my case they absolutely DID NOT, but like a dupe I signed all this crap and there is a time on this one of 9:26AM, despite it actually being provided to me a full 5 hours later. DO NOT make this mistake!!! Want to know where you stuff is? Customer service is a joke. As in a true joke. No one has ever answered that number nor returned a call any time I have left a message, no matter what the day or hour. One woman who is apparently a dispatcher will reply to email only to say that there is no delivery date for your stuff STILL. Weeks later. Someone will call you. Maybe. Ever. All that said, I definitely feel motivated to stop at nothing to notify as many other consumers as possible that this company is the ABSOLUTE WORST. No one should ever do business with them. I don't even care anymore if they end up leaving everything I owned on the side of the road b/c I'd find that preferable at this point to being held hostage to pay the remainder of their ridiculous fee for the worst service in the history of the world.
