This company does not deserve to even be Movers!  If there were a ZERO rating here that what they would get.  I had several hundred dollars of my items broken..everything was bubble wrapped, boxes were marked FRAGILE...and still the boxes arrived CAVED IN AND SMASHED....and I .was only rewarded $72 for my loss.  They said I did not purchase the additional insurance at the time of the move....there insurance only covers 16 cents per pound of damage. After hours of paperwork to file this damage claim it cost an additional $16.00 to mail color pictures and claim information. Oh, and get this....I was told I need to inspect all 145 boxes at the time of delivery ....REALLY!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE.   I paid them over $4,000 to move me from Dallas to San Diego...and when they got here 2 hours late... since they could not get there truck close by my condo...they were asking for an additional $225.00 right then...and refused to unpack until they were paid....so 4:00 I had to run to the bank and pay them more money....THIS IS A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MOVING COMING...THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A PERSON OR CUSTOMER!!!  when ever I called the office for moving information...or sent them a email about my move....all they could mention was how much was DUE AT DELIVERY...AND CASH!!!!   Ridiculous!!!  the most stressful move of my Life.....SHAME ON YOU...24 HOURS MOVING COMPANY!!!I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND YOU TO ANYONE AS A PROFESSIONAL MOVING COMPANY!!

Beware! Warning! My husband and I have moved over 13 times. We have moved within town, and cross country. We have much experience with moving companies and I have to say, this is the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Not only are they by far, the worst movers, they are the WORST CONSUMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD, IN ANY INDUSTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are unreliable, unprofessional, deceptive, rude and incompetent in every way.  Even though we agreed on a price to deliver our furniture to our home within a time frame, they totally failed. They took much longer, and then in the end played so many deceptive games to  up charge us WE ENDED SPENDING MUCH, MUCH, MUCH MORE THAN THE AGREED UPON DELIVERY FEE.  It was either that, or have our furniture held for ransome.  - their entire game is to give a competitive quote to get the business, but beware! They will play so many games to jack up the charges, then refuse to deliver or release your furniture unless you pay the CASH according to their trumped up demands. They are the most unprofessional and deceptive business we have ever experienced. We should have been suspicious when they wouldn't take a check or credit card - they don't want honest customers to have any recourse for their bad practices!!  If you ever want to see your possessions again after paying the agreed upon price, hire anyone but 24 hour movers. They are truly THE WORST COMPANY WE HAVE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH!!!!!!

Only if I could give them negative stars. Their experience did move me! the worst moving company I have come across and I have moved a few times. I blame myself for not checking reviews before booking them since it was a move on short notice. Upfront they come across as professional till you book them then it's all downhill. I Ended up paying 350$ extra because my apartment was not accessible by their 18 wheeler ,(it was either that or I rent a uhal and have them load it somewhere else for which they were saying 150 to help me load)they did not have this problem when they were picking up my stuff. It also took them forever to deliver(40 days). Also when you call them to find out about the status, they refer you to movingclaims.net and fill a form and all you get back is if your stuff is on its way or not. It never tell you when will it be on its way if it is not loaded. Customer service is extremely rude also and if you try to complain, they just email you the claims form rather than helping you out. Basically that means they don't care. They also did not deliver 2 side tables but I did not even bother to bring it up because I was too harrowed mentally to even care. I just wanted to get done with it. Also some furniture was scratched. I would not recommend this company to anyone and I am glad this ordeal is over for me.

I'll try to keep this just factual, though I am steaming mad. To begin with, they were SEVEN (!!!!) HOURS later than they said they would come. Then, arrival took THREE (3!!! I am not kidding!!!) weeks. And when they came, they wanted to charge a horrendous extra amount for "distance from the door." My husband seized their measuring device, measured himself, and they were...is there a polite word for "lying" about the measurement? They took $220 cash from us after demanding much, much more. Horrible company. Horrible. We were pulled in by the low quote, wound up paying much more, and...by the way...some priceless family china was broken.

I used 24 Hours Moving to relocate from the Dallas area to Orange County, CA in November of 2014.  At first I was skeptical because of multiple negative reviews about this company on Yelp.  But my experience was positive.I arranged for an in-home estimate.  Michael was very personable and accommodating, and he provided me a competitive price quote. He was also onsite to supervise the initial stage of the packing process to ensure it went smoothly. The move went smoothly, and I was not up-charged or taken advantage of upon receiving my property.  I was particularly impressed with the delivery crew supervised by Lloyd.  He was very courteous.  His local crew of three were all hard working and polite young men.Reviewers should appreciate that posting negative reviews doesn't account for the number of positive experiences which likely are exponentially higher.
