Mambo Movers

This is my company

Everybody knows Mambo of Philadelphia. Yes, it is a moving company properly licensed and insured; with all of the movers' paraphernalia and attributes: trucks, dollies, blankets and very skillful and experienced staff — everything is there. Strong and fast, yet gentle and careful, Mambo does custom moves, like elite tailors make custom fitted suits. It's not just a plain relocation, it's an experience. Well, it is probably a bit more than just a moving company after all.

MAMBO WORLD IS A STYLE OF LIFE. The staff is hand-picked from the music and art scene of Philadelphia according to their philosophy of life and fitness to be a part of that unique Mambo World. They are friends and work together for many years. The Mambo Guys are musicians and artists, actors and philosophers — everything but the traditional image of the surly caveman mover. Everybody knows Mambo of Philadelphia, ask your friends about us and I'm sure you'll hear a lot of good things. So, Ladies and Gentlemen,

WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF MAMBO!

When moving gets tough within the Philadelphia proper, Mambo is the best name to call! But when my original plans of moving back to Philly from suburbia fell through, and I was ideally trying to move out 2-3 weeks later, I didn't think that even Mambo could deliver such a festivus miracle! That notion miraculously changed one morning when I caught a familiar glimpse of their rhino logo when I was on my way back to my old Narberth abode. And with a fast email response and a call to confirm my moving arrangement I was given the best last minute option that would have given me a way to move out without being set back by another 3 weeks+... A Sunday afternoon move with a time that was contingent on when the movers on duty were able to finish up their first job of the day!Between my first experience with Mambo, and this possible Hail Mary pass that potentially gave me the opportunity to move within 2 weeks of my setback on a summer weekend, and these guys have definitely proved what miracle workers they can be. But still the prospect of this Sunday afternoon move left me more than a little nervous. After all, if there first move set them back long enough they wouldn't have arrived until 4:30-5 pm, which would have set back all other moving plans that I had for the day(s) back significantly! But fast forward to the day of, and the call that I got to confirm that they'd be be arriving around 2:00-2:30 pm, and it looked like everything was coming up Milhouse! After a quick show of everything in the garage, everything was loaded up and we were meeting them in East Passyunk within 2-hour mark despite part of the avenue being blocked off by a mega festival. And as I watched our smallish hipster musician movers carry huge items of furniture and mattresses with ease, it confirmed that they were still skilled beyond mortal movers!Between their professionalism, reliability, strength, and skill; for movers in Philly Mambo is still the king!

Just used Mambo to move from a walk up apartment in Philly to my apartment in Manhattan and their three man crew was timely, efficient, pleasant, and cheap! They also have a Certificate of Insurance and sent it to my NY super within maybe two hours of my requesting it.Their website is very wacky but don't let that stop you from hiring these guys! They arrived just before 9 and started the clock. They moved all my boxes and my mattress to their truck downstairs and disassembled a bed frame. They were off by 10 and arrived at my place in NYC at 12:30. They finished their move by 1:30 and were off. All in all the move cost a little over 1100. They provided a full invoice and included tip on it as well (which was helpful since my firm was reimbursing the move). After the move was over, my normally-hard-to-impress super said "wow where did you find these guys, that was great". My mom, who was coordinating the move on the NYC end, appreciated that they were laid back - it helped her stress levels a lot that they would make small talk and jokes while moving. All in all, amazing amazing service. High points for efficiency and quality of service and was really impressed with the price.I will say the only frustrating thing is that they don't accept card so you have to be prepared to pay with cash, certified check, or money order. We ended up going the cash route and the final cost ended up being way under their initial guesstimate (which was based on travel time etc.)

..I'd like to interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to sing the praises of Mambo Movers, "Mike" and the guys who helped make my transition effortless. (1) Price was exactly as quoted (2) arrived later than I had hoped - but easily made up for it in their focus, hustle and no-nonese demeanor. The guys came to work and they were not messing around. (3) Extraordinary professionalism - clear communication was given with each step of the process: what was being moved next, when they planned to arrive at my new location and approximately how long the unloading would last. PERFECT! Y'all - we all know that moving is a nightmare. a. night. mare.  The Mambo team seem to understand this - they never made me feel overwhelmed and were a excellent calming force is what is universally a difficult and tedious process. BRAVO! (NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO MOVING AGAIN) - but when I do - I know exactly who to call! Alright - go back to whatever it is you were doing - and if that was "looking for a mover," trust me - you've found them! #ClassAct #Professional #BestOfPhilly #BestMoversPhilly

A crew of 3 Mambo Movers pulled up in front of the tree of our house and proceeded to break branches off by parking too close to it. I asked if they could move the truck away from the tree, but one of their employees was nasty and told me off with lots of nasty disgusting language. Then he told me to move or his truck would run me over. He then placed his dollies on the mulch we just put down around the base of the tree. When I asked him to place them on the sidewalk he said "screw you". He refused to remove the dollies, so I had to do it myself. The vehicle driver was kind enough to realize he could move the truck several feet away from the tree, and did so.By the way, we've used Mambo 3 times over the past 10 years and always had a positive experience. Clearly some of their employees need some training in how to talk to people and not insult and verbally attack Philadelphia citizens.

Doesn't get any better than these guys in Philly. Pricing is fair and they are efficient as hell. Can't say enough good things about them!!
