SCAM ARTISTS!!!If I could give zero stars I would. This company is a SCAM. They quoted my mother 400.00 and then on the day of the move, the owner calls and demands 300.00 more, claiming it took 3 hours to pack a bedroom set and table. My mother refused bc that was nearly double the price but he then threatened to hold the furniture. Then when the movers got to my house they tried to force her to sign a paper stating she received a brochure called  "important notice" but he had no brochure !!   We should have called the police.Save your money and time, I filed a complaint against them at the BBB and division of consumer affairs. I can't even find a NJ movers and warehousemen license for them! Finally bc my mother wanted her furniture she paid the additional money and signed their fraudulent papers.BEWARE!!! Check the Internet this company was caught in a sting for unlicensed movers in 2011, Lahzar Berkat the owner is a criminal for the way he's defrauding consumers. I wouldn't be surprised if true other reviews on here are fake!! This occurred 10/27- 10/28/15.

I have moved 20 times in my life. All dreadful.  This was the FIRST TIme EVER I am happy with a moving company!  I am finally all unpacked.  Not one thing broke or damaged, nothing was left behind and it didn't cost an arm and leg!I recommend Van Express highly!!!!!Woot woot!!!!!!!

i recently used van express for a local move for my wife and it was the best move that we have ever done. we are military and have done numerous moves with the army (up to about 6 already) but this was a personal move and it definitely beat all the others by a long shot.the movers came early and got everything out of the apartment in impressive time. all the furniture was taken apart and wrapped up safely including a tv and large printer. things were set up in the new place also in a quick manner and put together without any hitches. we even tried to do small things like put shelves into a tv stand and move a rug around and the movers without hesitation offered to help...truly great service!!!!!!i would without a doubt recommend them for a move!!!!!

I had 2 different moves done with this company and I have to say I am very happy with everything. The manager and staff are the most friendliest and helpful people. The move from Brooklyn, NY to NJ went smooth in both moves (second one being the best), only exception was one draw which the track was broke in the first move, but after talking with them, they reimbursed fully for the repair. I recommend these guys to anyone and any issues, they deal with it promptly. Whatever they took apart, the easily put back together. They also work very fast to make sure of the time not going over what they estimated.

We had a great experience with Van Express moving! I have used movers before, but none as efficient, quick, and easy to deal with like Van Express. They made my moving process so easy. I will definitely be using them again for my next move. To go into detail on our actual move... We made two stops - one at my boyfriend's place, the next at my place, with the final stop being Manhattan. The whole process only took a little over 3 hours. They were in and out of all three places and were done an hour earlier than anticipated! We had everything pre-packed and ready to go before Van Express came with the exception of our assembled furniture. They disassembled, packed, and moved all of the big furniture so quickly and so efficiently. We were impressed.Our other roommate was using another moving company since she was coming from a different area, and her movers were in the apartment for 7-8 hours. None of her items were packed securely...some of her stuff ended up bent/broken. Total opposite of our moving experience with Van Express. Van Express made sure everything was securely packed. NONE of our belongings were broken, bent, or scratched. I can't say anything bad about Van Express because they made my moving experience 110% POSITIVE.
