I found choosing a mover very difficult, as everybody had both good & bad reviews on the internet. Although I was looking for a low price, I also wanted a perfect move, so I know that I was asking for a lot. With Van Express, I got both! They are a small, family run company that really cares about the quality of their work, and the satisfaction of their customers. Lazhar, the owner, runs the company with his wife, and does most of the estimates himself. His sincerity impressed both my wife and myself. After only 8 years in business, they are small enough to give close, personal attention to every job they do, but also big enough to offer the most professional service to every job they handle, no matter how big or how small. I paid them extra to come the day before the move and pack us mostly all up. I highly recommend that, as it made the move the next day smooth, fast & flawless! I couldn't have asked for a better move. Zed, the crew manager, was on top of everything. He kept things moving along quickly and efficiently. My wife and I are very difficult to please, and frankly, expected the worse. To impress both of us as they did so well, really does say a lot. As fabulous as these movers were, they did it all at a fraction of the price that everybody else quoted me, which is also very impressive. Although not required and totally optional, I was happy to give Zed & his crew a very generous tip for a job well done in the way they accommodated us. Thank you Van Express for giving me such a wonderful moving experience!

This service was completely unprofessional and wasted my time and my friends' time on my moving day. I was promised a two man crew at 8 AM who would be strong enough to move my furniture into their truck. I got a scrawny two man crew at 11 AM who don't speak English well and could not move my furniture. I had to send them back. There was no communication to them of what time they needed to show up. There was no one accountable at their office to call, despite the website promising it was staffed 7 days. Basically this service was all promises, smiles, and low costs, and nearly turned into a disaster. Fortunately another company was able to step up and send a crew with last minute notice. I'll be reviewing them later today. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

So...three very friendly guys show up a few minutes late with a smaller truck than I thought would be needed. I mention this to Ishmael as I show him what's to be moved. He sez " no problem".They went right to work and did a masterful job wrapping everything to prevent any damage. But I was right... we could not get everything loaded. Fortunately we weren't moving very far away so they offered to make a second trip for what remained. They charged me a little bit more but considering the size of the furniture and the difficulty of bringing into my townhouse I got a really fair deal. These guys were total pros!

Awesome team of guys, they really exemplified team work. Very professional, careful, clean, and efficient. Their driving and maneuvering skills were the best you've seen! Fair pricing, no hidden fees. I recommend 100%!

GREAT EXPERIENCE with Van Express.  Very customer focused and they delivered on what they promised.  They made our moving experience stress free and "almost" enjoyable. Van Express packed up our home in New Jersey, stored our items for about 2 weeks and then delivered our items to our new home in Virginia.  They were courteous and very hard working. Highly recommend.
