Boy Oh Boy,  What a great crew we had. Ziggy. Ziggy and his crew communicated that they were running a bit late. Then when they arrived we saw our street was closed due to paving. Oh my , I lost it. They were so calm and waited to be directed on were to go.  I was nervous about using them even though I have moved many times but this was a short small move. They were fast, friendly and took great care of our furniture and wrapped things.I give this crew 10 stars.  I

A good price and polite staff. They charged me $50 extra to come between 8-9am and showed up at 8:53, so I guess I can't technically take off a star for that but it was a little off-putting. They got the job done though and I'd use them again.

Moved with Clean Cut Moving in February 2016 during a snowstorm in NYC from midtown to Murray Hill! The guys were extremely professional, efficient and took the time to wrap all of my furniture. Couldn't be happier with their services.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. One of the most stressful, unnerving experiences of my life. Now the owner keeps commenting on our reviews with updates to insult us as if trying to make our moving day total hell wasn't enough. It's becoming more clear to me they are a scam. Don't believe the positive reviews-They are mostly solicited. I can see one is totally fake since it seems to address my complaints directly. My husband reserved a window of time several weeks ago. We didn't have a lot of time to plan after being accepted to move into a new building and hadn't even started to pack yet and my husband gave a low estimate for the amount of boxes. So mid-move, after counting twenty boxes one of the movers told me we had more stuff than we said. I apologized and immediately left to go get more cash. I told the mover in the hallway, "I'm going to get you guys more money, so it's not a problem." When I got back fifteen minutes later everyone was outside, my husband was on the phone and the movers were sitting or standing around the truck that contained 20 boxes. My husband got off the phone and said their boss told us they could take the 20 boxes over or take all the stuff for $600 and leave it on the loading dock at our new building and my husband would have to get it from there. This was totally unacceptable. I got on the phone with the boss and apologized for having more stuff and told him we really needed our stuff delivered to our apt. The boss acted surprised I was upset and continued to criticize me for having more stuff than we said, claiming they'd be late to their next job. Here's what we had (by their count): 70 boxes (from the smallest shoe box size to the largest), plants, and my toddler's bedroom furniture. That's all. We'd gotten rid of all of our other furniture. Meanwhile, my husband started to carry all the rest of the boxes down to the truck while the movers were sitting around and I was on the phone with the boss. I told him that I have a small child and we couldn't have all our stuff on the loading dock when she got home from school and he told me "I have two kids, why is that my problem?" Nobody was arguing that we had more stuff than we originally said, and we were absolutely willing to pay for it but it became pretty clear the boss wanted to make this as difficult and as stressful for everyone as possible. Their next job was supposedly at 6 pm and they'd gotten to our place at 1:15 and we were moving less than a mile away to place with a freight elevator. The boss had no solution other than to "take it up with my husband". When the boss got on the phone with my husband he said, "I don't let my wife talk to me like that." In the end, we negotiated to pay them $800 to move the stuff into our apartment (I reiterate that paying extra was never a problem but we got robbed here) and my husband tipped the movers $40 each. The movers stopped again mid move to be paid in full before delivering our things. My husband got an email from Alex saying we needed to "pay early because of your wife's behavior." My husband carried as much as he could which appeared to be more than the movers from where I was standing. I cried all afternoon while the movers were at my place because it was so stressful not knowing if we were going to get moved in or not. It was a total nightmare. At one point when I thought they weren't going to deliver my things, I called a moving company down the street from me who said they would come within an hour and do the whole job for $1000 and I wanted to take them up on it just to ensure we'd get moved in, but my husband talked me out of it. UPDATE: I'm not shocked by Alex's unprofessional and bullying response to my honest review (professional? hardly). I did not yell and curse at you the whole time. We were super nice to your poor movers who you treat like dogs#**. They each got a $40 tip. As far as my husband goes, I hired you to move my family into a new apartment, not be my marriage counselor. So why is that even any of your business? Note to folks out there, do not invite this company into the privacy of your home unless you feel like having the owner comment on your marriage on a super stressful day.You promise to be movers that can be trusted and you absolutely are not. You promise no job is too big or small. 100 items (your estimate) are not that many items. We had very little furniture. My husband ended up moving most of it. I've posted on parents listserves and have already received feedback from people that they will not be hiring you. Perhaps you don't want their business either.
