Beware- only use this company if you do not care about when your household items will finally arrive and if you enjoy poor customer service.  ACE was contracted to move our household goods from Southern California to Washington.  The people who were sent in to pack up and load the truck were great and that's why I'm giving two stars.  But after that it has all gone down hill.  Our items were picked up on 6/16 and we were given a delivery window of 6/19-7/3.  Since we are not moving from, say California to New York, one would not expect them to need all the way to July 3rd.  Especially since your items have already been on a truck since 6/16.  Well think again folks because after multiple calls, with all of them ending up in leaving messages because they are having phone issues and only one of those messages being returned, that's exactly what we are being told.  Our motorcycle, which left the same day, arrived several days ago and it was on a truck with multiple large items needing delivery as well.  Another one of our cars that was shipped got here before we even did!  We made the drive ourselves in 5 days and that's because we stopped at various places along the way to explore and sleep.So now here we are, two weeks after our home has been picked up and we are still sleeping on the floor of our new home with eating out as the only option because we have no means to cook.Thanks for the nightmare ACE.

Don't ever use this company. Their "coordinators" are located out of Texas and they don't know what they are doing. They are unresponsive, don't answer their calls, never return phone calls. We had them move us just a short 30 miles away, they ended up holding our stuff hostage for days. The coordinators said they communicated with me when in fact I had no such calls! I've missed days from work and checked out of a hotel, only to end up in an empty house for 3 days, with my two children. This is no way to treat a military family!!!!! I'll be writing letters to our military transportation dept and informing them of our horrible experience!!!!!!!!

I contacted Atlas and 3 other companies for relocation from California to Texas. Ace partner of Atlas, Eric Galpine came to our home and gave an estimate. I was a little hesitant since it appeared how could anyone estimate the property just with a visual tour of everything. Plus it was not definitely the cheapest in price. However, based on my interactions with Eric, my wife and I liked how he explained everything and was very understanding on what we had to achieve as a part of the move. We decided to move with Ace. It was a very good decision since everything was handled so well, right from packing, storing in storage (yes we had 3 months of storage) before actually getting delivered at California. Also, I must mention that the weight estimate of Eric was very close to our actual stuff. Truly amazing!Michelle Blake was our coordinator who did such a fantastic job of keeping me posted along the way and where my stuff was. Everything came fantastic and I really did not have to do much. Very happy to recommend Ace to anyone!

I contacted Ace/Atlas about a move from Oakland, CA to Olympia, WA. Eric came to do the in-home estimate. It was pretty easy to make the appointment. He was on time and very professional.  After looking at everything, he estimated approx. 6600 lbs. (we thought for sure he over estimated). Eric provided us with an electronic estimate (via email) as well as a folder of information explaining our rights.  The estimate included full replacement value (which other companies charged extra for). Michelle was our moving coordinator. She was very responsive and provided great information. She confirmed the time when the crew would arrive as well as the date when our stuff would arrive at the other end.On the day the crew arrived, it was Steve and Fernando. They were on time and very professional. They were well organized and fully prepared. Steve even had a few extra picture boxes for us to have to pack a mirror and picture. Steve and Fernando handled everything. We were not worried. Steve estimated our stuff to arrive at the other end a week later. A few days after our stuff left, Michelle emailed me to let us know that our stuff would arrive on 11/16 (which worked out for us perfectly and was close to what Steve told us). She also let know that our stuff weighed 6800 lbs., but since the estimate that Eric gave us was a "no more than" estimate, we didn't have to pay any more. (The estimate was for about 55 cents per pound). We were able to pay by credit card.Our stuff arrived on time with very few casualties, but the important stuff were in tact. A few plastic bins were broken & boxes partially smashed, but contents unbroken. The seat on my bike was torn & a cheap bookshelf broken, but acceptable. We would use Ace again.

I was very pleased with how this move went.  I was impressed with the people I dealt with over the phone, the person who handled things in California, and the driver and his crew at this end.  Friends at the office were telling horror stories about their moves, and I was very nervous.  But everyone was professional, pleasant, very competent, and cared about my belongings.  It could not have gone better.  I would certainly recommend this mover.
