Nice crew, best rate I found, but 10.5h for 3 men to move a 2 bedroom appartement 5 min away! And all the boxes were done. Same move I did 2 years ago not boxing anything took only 7h! The pace was so slow and movers so thin and inexperienced. 1 admitted it was only its 2nd week working as a mover. I can't believe it had so good reviews on Yelp !

First, I was a little hesitant with getting movers, but for 2 "professional movers" at $75 per hour...couldnt really beat that price! I figured with very minimal items that needed to be brought from my apartment to my storage, the move should be fairly quick. 4 hours tops, that's me being over-generous with my timing.  The only real need was for my sectional, bed frame, TV and few breakable figurines belonging to my mom. Mind you, I had no dressers, chests or any other heavy items.Fast forward 4 hours, I'm getting anxious because my storage is going to close soon and they're still loading the truck? Mind you, I'm not standing there micromanaging them because I figured it's all under control...and I don't really need to give them a play by play on how the items should be handled since I already gave simple instructions when they got there. I was just really curious as to what's taking so long?!Jeff was so fast and efficient, so I can't discount the fact that he was working really hard. He was literally breaking a sweat! Leo, his helper on the other hand, seems to either be a new guy or just has no sense of urgency. Jeff had to constantly tell him what to do, how to do it and urging him to get things done. Almost babysitting him. C'mon Okay, so we get to the storage. They're rushing trying to get my stuff in. Then I realize that my sectional was wrapped in Saran Wrap with the furniture pads, UNDER the wrapping? Once again, I'm not a professional mover but I figure that furniture pads are to go on top of my furniture? Maybe taped once or twice just to get extra protection?They then tell me that each furniture was $15 and that my sectional had at least 7 pads wrapped around it. Breakables I understand and would be more than happy to buy, but for unbreakable items?!  Yeah, not going to happen. So then they spent another 30 minutes unwrapping my items to remove all the pads.At this point I'm just getting really frustrated because this is unnecessary work...had they just put the pad on top of the clear plastic, it would be so much easier! Now my sectional is sitting in a storage with no protection. My items just unorganized because they were in a time crunch to get everything in there because my storage was about to close.Had I felt completely satisfied with the service I would most likely hire them again for my storage to apartment move in a month...but at this point, I'm just a little disappointed in the final results.Give me 2 Jeffs and maybe I'd consider it.I work at a furniture place, people often asking for recommendations for movers...can't say that I'll be 100% recommending this place.

I cannot express how grateful we are for Cali Moving and Storage!  First off, their prices are UNBEATABLE.  I had TONS of quotes come in and not only did theirs was the most attractive, I had a warm follow up phone call from Michael to see how he can help.  When I emailed to reserve them, I received another nice phone call to complete the booking.  Fast forward to MOVING DAY.... Prior to the start time, I received a nice phone call from Albert that they were on their way.  Upon arrival, introductions and handshakes were exchanged.  These guys were so polite, courteous and extremely helpful, without any complaints the entire day.  What was thought to be a quick and simple job, lasted 12 hours (with lunch, breaks, and dinner in between).  We couldn't have done it without them!*ALBERT* *HERNAN* *HENRY* *ALEX* are all SUPERHEROS to us!!  I highly recommend them and would use them over and over again!

I hired Cali Movers to move from three bedroom to two bedroom, service was fast and i used their storage for extra furniture. They didn't brake anything, thus the good review.Thank you

Cali movers came in the clutch for us. Our moving company bailed the day of so we gave Cali Moving a call. They were able to accommodate us with no problem. We had Alberto and Hernan moving us.  their truck fit everything we had and then some and they were extremely careful with all our furniture. Would definitely ask them back.
