Hercules Moving Systems

I had a great experience with Hercules.  David and Keyon were early to our appointment.  My friend wasn't packed but they patiently helped.  It was 100 degrees but they kept on moving and working until the job was all done.David and Keyon were excellent movers, fast, efficient and cheerful.  I couldn't ask for anything more.

Only use them for a local or one day move- that seesm what they are good at. We moved from NYC to Hawaii AND it was a horror show. Our stuff sat in a warehouse in NJ for 5 weeks. items which left our apartment wrapped and safe and clean were pulled off the boat in Hawaii unwrapped and filthy (so much so that the Hawaii staff noted this specifically as if the items had sat in a warehouse!). Once they have your money customer service is gone. We will be filing claims but I hear they ignore claims as well. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Yelp...WTF?!?  Only 32 reviews are presented when there are close to 200 reviews that caution faithful Yelpers to NOT use this company.  Why are they blocked??I'm waiting on a claim payment from Hercules...now over 13 weeks since they lost our furniture (3 pieces) and damaged one piece, so I'm not going to blast them as I feel that they may never reimburse me in retaliation.I am muzzled...for now. I'm also in a great mood and don't feel like re-living the experience I have had over these weeks with Sarah, the customer service manager...who I had to literally TRICK into taking a phone call from me after several attempts to get an answer.  This is after Hercules ran WEEKS LATE in even getting our stuff to us. Aaaarrgh...I'm getting pissed.  I'm out.  Back soon.  Stay tuned.   Yelp...post the other reviews.

ZERO STARS!!!!Where do I even begin??? If you value your time, sanity, and money even a little bit, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. Never have I experienced such horrible customer service and lack of caring EVER. I used their service for a cross-country move from Los Angeles, CA to New Jersey. I was on a strict budget and short timeline. The agent I spoke to who provided me with the quote, Steven, was SO nice, SO courteous and polite ONLY WHEN he was trying to get my business. After I made the reservation, I never heard from him to follow up on the details of the move. When I called him and finally got a hold of him, he gave me such bad attitude as if I was bothering him with my questions. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL customer service. They picked up my items on June 11th (showed up an hour late) and delivered them on July 24th (showed up 3.5 hours late), holding my personal belongings hostage for over a month. Every time I called them to ask them when my stuff would be on a truck, their response was always consistent: "We're still working on your order; we're still waiting for a truck to become available." What do you mean you're still waiting for a truck? What do you mean you don't know when my stuff will be on a truck?? You're a MOVING COMPANY. This is what you DO. They will never give you a straight answer and no matter how much complaining you do, you'll never see a change in attitude or any attempt to accommodate you. I was in NJ without my belongings for over a month! They didn't deliver during the time that was promised, and they claimed they would reimburse me $30/day for each day beyond the delivery window. I still have yet to hear from them or get the money THEY OWE ME. Also, why are there 174 reviews "not recommended" on Yelp?? And all the "blocked" reviews are 1 star reviews?!?! Yelp, please help me understand this!!It took multiple calls from myself AND from my boyfriend, and a threat to use another company for them to finally put my stuff on a truck. THANK GOD everything arrived in one piece with nothing missing and minimal damage. Although they did try to give me items that did not belong to me. I feel sorry for the poor soul who is missing that coffee table. The moving guys who delivered my items in NJ were really nice, because they were NOT part of Hercules. They were part of another moving company that Hercules partners with. I forgot the name of that company but they couldn't even figure out what time they were going to deliver my items (ugh, SMH!!!). My problem isn't with the guys doing the actual moving; my problem is with the management at these moving companies!!How Hercules is still legally in business is beyond me.
