Local moving services from and to anywhere in the Los Angeles area.When you have decided you want to book your move, all you have to call and we will set it up for you. No deposit is required.We provide you with unlimited wardrobe boxes, as well as blankets & stretch wrap to protect your furniture, all at no charge.On the scheduled day we will come to your door, wrap your furniture in blankets, and move all your belongings carefully and efficiently to your new home. We have been moving people in the Los Angeles area for over 25 years.Moving can be a very stressful experience for many people, so our aim is to make your move as easy for you as possible.We are licensed by the P.U.C. Our license number is T-190154.If you store your belongings with us, all your furniture will remain completely wrapped in thick moving blankets the entire time.  Blankets and wardrobe boxes are provided at additional charge,We store everything in vaults, which are large wooden crates approximately 7 ft long, 5 ft wide and 8 ft tall.There is no charge for the first month's rent (provided you use our moving service to move you both in and out), and after that your charges are pro-rated. If you stay in our storage for one month and one day, then all you pay for is one day!

History

Established in 1987. The business was started in 1983 by Craig Clark using the name «Craig's Quality Movers». In 1986 Tim Gordon joined him and formed a partnership, briefly doing business as The Pilgrim Moving Co. before becoming A Better Way to Move in 1987.For the first few years the two of them did most of the moving themselves, slowly taking on additional employees and carefully teaching the importance of taking care of the customers and their furniture and belongings.  The company operated from a store front on Venice Blvd from 1991 until 2004, when they moved to a warehouse near the 105 freeway.Craig left the partnership in 1994 to join a seminary, leaving Tim Gordon as the sole owner.

This is the second time I have used A Better Way to Move and I couldn't be happier! They are prompt in arrival, great at communicating and confirming moving information, careful with your boxes and furniture -- and also fast at moving (thus reducing your overall cost)! Brian, Luis, and Miguel were attentive and caring, ensuring to get all of my boxes and furniture into the correct rooms. And they were smiling the whole time. I have used the services of "A Better Way To Move" two times now, and I give them 5 stars.  They are professional movers - prompt, courteous, friendly, and they took care of my belongings as though it was their own. Scheduling was a breeze.  Tim and Vendal provided prompt responses -- even on a weekend.  The move was short notice, and they accommodated the request.  Their rates were also the best for movers in Los Angeles.  They had a service for 2 movers, while other moving companies did not.  On the day of the move, Bryan and Luis called before their arrival, and arrived at the appointed time.  It was a move for large items including a bed, armoire, closets, tables, etc.  When they were about to transport the mattress for my bed, they washed their hands to make sure it stayed clean and was not stained by dirt.  They listened to our directions, and were very polite.  I highly recommend A Better Way To Move with two thumbs up!  Thanks to these guys -- the difficult task of moving becomes somewhat easier.

Really can't say enough positive things about these guys. They've helped me through 2 moves, both of which weren't the easiest logistically. And they made every part of both moves fast & flawless. For the time, energy, money, & hassle they saved me, if anything, they're underpriced. Truly some of the best value you'll EVER find with a professional moving company in Los Angeles.

Guys did an amazing job! Me and my husband were very impressed. They came on time with a big truck. Managed to fit everything in it before lunch. Unloaded in 3 hrs. Placed everything where it belonged. Nothing broken or missing. In total 2 bedroom house with A LOT of stuff was moved in 8 hrs. Fast, careful, professional and with good mood. Zero complaints, they were checking with us and confirming everything before wrapping or moving. Will definitely recommend them to all our friends.

Can't say enough good things about Jaime and his crew.  Professional, hardworking, punctual and great attitudes.  From start to finish, they were great to work with and a pleasure to be around.  Went above and beyond in moving things to make the best arrangements.  Gracias a todos!!
