Local moving services from and to anywhere in the Los Angeles area.When you have decided you want to book your move, all you have to call and we will set it up for you. No deposit is required.We provide you with unlimited wardrobe boxes, as well as blankets & stretch wrap to protect your furniture, all at no charge.On the scheduled day we will come to your door, wrap your furniture in blankets, and move all your belongings carefully and efficiently to your new home. We have been moving people in the Los Angeles area for over 25 years.Moving can be a very stressful experience for many people, so our aim is to make your move as easy for you as possible.We are licensed by the P.U.C. Our license number is T-190154.If you store your belongings with us, all your furniture will remain completely wrapped in thick moving blankets the entire time.  Blankets and wardrobe boxes are provided at additional charge,We store everything in vaults, which are large wooden crates approximately 7 ft long, 5 ft wide and 8 ft tall.There is no charge for the first month's rent (provided you use our moving service to move you both in and out), and after that your charges are pro-rated. If you stay in our storage for one month and one day, then all you pay for is one day!

History

Established in 1987. The business was started in 1983 by Craig Clark using the name «Craig's Quality Movers». In 1986 Tim Gordon joined him and formed a partnership, briefly doing business as The Pilgrim Moving Co. before becoming A Better Way to Move in 1987.For the first few years the two of them did most of the moving themselves, slowly taking on additional employees and carefully teaching the importance of taking care of the customers and their furniture and belongings.  The company operated from a store front on Venice Blvd from 1991 until 2004, when they moved to a warehouse near the 105 freeway.Craig left the partnership in 1994 to join a seminary, leaving Tim Gordon as the sole owner.

We had the Better Way To Move team move us from Manhattan Beach to Laguna Beach at the beginning of the month. They made the move so easy for us! Every single item made it to our new place in one piece. They were very professional and provided great service! I would definitely recommend them to everyone I know in the LA area.

I just had the Better Way team (thanks Luis!) move me AGAIN on March 2. Luis and his partner (our favorite Panamanian), were ON TIME, professional, extremely friendly and patient. They worked so hard and never lost patience with me, even though this time I moved upstairs with very heavy items. These guys do not goof off. They work.  This company has moved me many times in the last seven years because my elderly parents died and homes needed to be cleared out and items needed to be stored and moved around. Although it was overwhelming for me, each time has been an excellent experience with A Better Way. Tim and Wendell will keep you sane at the office end, and are super kind and efficient. The customer service is wonderful. If you have to move, this will make moving a positive experience, and is very affordable. Thank you to the entire team....again!!

I had a great experience with A Better Way to Move. They arrived on time, were super careful when packing up my breakables, couch  (it's so heavy as a sleeper couch), everything. They were patient and quick. Once we got to our new place they were careful moving around our new home and ensuring not to scratch the floors. They weremidful, asking where we wanted certain items an where we wanted specific rooms to be. They helped to navigate some ackward turns & helped to make moving as unstrwssful as possible. THANK YOU!!

Wow this company really lives up to its name! They came recommended by friends who had used them and I am so glad we went with them. Initial estimate was surprisingly reasonable and the guys worked so efficiently and quickly (and yet carefully!) that it ending up costing less than expected. We had 4 movers for our 3 bedroom - Brian, Jose, Luis R. and Carlos - and they were ALL awesome! These guys were clearly experts at what they do and what really struck us was that they did it with a happy attitude - really great guys - they seemed happy to be doing what they were doing so this company must be doing something right.  As everyone knows, moving is super stressful so having happy attitude movers made such a difference! Made us feel like we could relax a bit and trust the process.  Totally professional every step of the way and yet not uptight, a very friendly vibe. We will recommend this company to everyone. Thank you for making our move so much less stressful!!!!

These guys were phenomenal. Javier and Rafael packed up my entire apartment in a timely manner, transported it to OC, unloaded, and everything was in perfect condition. They wrapped every piece of furniture, laid down a carpet runner so as not to dirty the floor, and the truck had every supply necessary. They were extremely nice and patient. I would highly recommend!!!
