Local moving services from and to anywhere in the Los Angeles area.When you have decided you want to book your move, all you have to call and we will set it up for you. No deposit is required.We provide you with unlimited wardrobe boxes, as well as blankets & stretch wrap to protect your furniture, all at no charge.On the scheduled day we will come to your door, wrap your furniture in blankets, and move all your belongings carefully and efficiently to your new home. We will dismantle and re-assemble beds for you, and place everything where you would like it at the destination.   HomeLocal MovesBoxes & MaterialsStorageContact Us. We have been moving people in the Los Angeles area for over 25 years.Moving can be a very stressful experience for many people, so our aim is to make your move as easy for you as possible.We are licensed by the P.U.C. Our license number is T-190154.If you store your belongings with us, all your furniture will remain completely wrapped in thick moving blankets the entire time.  Blankets and wardrobe boxes are provided at additional charge,We store everything in vaults, which are large wooden crates approximately 7 ft long, 5 ft wide and 8 ft tall.There is no charge for the first month's rent (provided you use our moving service to move you both in and out), and after that your charges are pro-rated. If you stay in our storage for one month and one day, then all you pay for is one day!

History

Established in 1987. The business was started in 1983 by Craig Clark using the name «Craig's Quality Movers». In 1986 Tim Gordon joined him and formed a partnership, briefly doing business as The Pilgrim Moving Co. before becoming A Better Way to Move in 1987.For the first few years the two of them did most of the moving themselves, slowly taking on additional employees and carefully teaching the importance of taking care of the customers and their furniture and belongings.  The company operated from a store front on Venice Blvd from 1991 until 2004, when they moved to a warehouse near the 105 freeway.Craig left the partnership in 1994 to join a seminary, leaving Tim Gordon as the sole owner.

These guys are great!!! They have moved my apartment, my grandmothers apartment, and have helped deliver furniture to my mom. They are kind, fast, efficient, and are all around really help me when I'm stressed and overwhelmed with moving. I have had them disassemble, pack up, move, re assemble, and even unpack and remove boxes and trash. I wouldn't recommend any other moving company.

I can't say enough nice things about this company. They were simply the finest movers we have ever used. Starting with our first contact with Vendel to our on-site meeting with owner Tim and then our move orchestrated by Javier, everything was flawless.There was not one item damaged and we had a very large house filled with art, China and Crystal. I believe their prices were extremely fair. I will never use another mover.I recommend them to anybody that needs a small or a large move and you will be extremely satisfied.

Amazing moving company! Moving is always so stressful, but this company made it as easy as could be. Javier and Jose were such great guys and extremely professional, they worked so hard, fast, efficiently and with great care. The quote that was given before hand was fair and accurate, which seems rare for a moving company! The prices were extremely reasonable and with no hidden fees tacked on at the end.I would recommend them for anyone looking for movers. I will definitely be using them again for any future moves.Thank you!

I've never been disappointed with the guys at A Better Way to Move.  I've used them multiple times and they are always prompt, fast, and just genuinely nice people.  They take great care with everything they're moving and work hard.  Brian and Jose got me from the Valley to Pasadena in 3 hours and that was with the cumbersome upper level unit I had with multiple stair cases and awkward corners to maneuver around.  I mistakenly used a different company to move a block away from one apartment complex to another and it took 3 guys 4 hours.  It was expensive and the service sucked.  Never again.  Only use this company if you're moving in the LA area.  Jose especially was such a personable great guy.  If you're moving on a Wednesday, ask for Jose and Brian.  They're awesome!The price is very reasonable at $89/hr for 2 guys and a truck.  You won't be disappointed!  Even if there's a cheaper service out there, don't risk it like I did.  You get more than you pay for with this company.
