I am very happy that I ended up choosing 5 star, I had to move literally across the USA, and they made everything very easy for me. I'm Active duty Army and I was in training the whole time not able to be at either location. They picked up everything in a timely manner and dropped it off to my new location! I would recommend this service to anyone!

5 Star did a great on my move from Los Angeles to Atlanta. I searched around for the best price & they agreed to work with my budget. The movers were professional & took care not to damage any of my items. In the end there were some additional charges but nothing outrageous. I was totally satisfied & would recommend their services to friends & family.

So many issues; I am really distraught with what happened with my cross-country move. I have already spent a lot of time and energy dealing with the repercussions of this move, so I will make this review brief. There is very poor communication with this company. I picked up my shipment myself from a storage space, because 5 Star tried to deliver a week before I arrived at my new location (I made it clear in the beginning when I would be able to accept deliver). My items were shoved into a storage space, and very clearly had been tossed around, so several items were damaged. Worst of all, 27.5% of my stuff is just gone...lost to who knows where. There was someone else's lost stuff in the storage space with mine. I sent photos to 5 Star, but since I moved to rural Maine (where it's out of the way), I would not be surprised if the owner never learned of their lost items. I don't know if 5 Star ever even tried to locate my lost shipment...I was never really called back about the issue, just told to call a separate company to file a claim. Ugh...this was such a nightmare move.

I can't lie I was a little sketchy about having people touch our personal things. (1st time using movers) 5 Star made our move so easy I will never lift a finger again. I'm not one for writing so I'll keep it short but detailed.PROS: it's kinda amazing/funny 5 Star will make you fill like a family member you haven't seen in a long time. Our whole family had fun with the movers & was laughing the entire time.  My wife Venessa & I have a 6 month old so we're constantly busy. A week before our move I came home from work and at our door were a variety of boxes, tape, wrapping & ties we didn't have to do anything. Just called told them how many rooms I had & 1 days later everything you need to pack was dropped off.They all came in early smiling 4/27 and made sure we wrapped everything correctly and moved everything quickly. CONS:It was hot on Monday

So the glowing review I gave on February 17, 2017 was STRICTLY because these thugs were holding my furniture hostage! "Write the review or pay $600 MORE" than the already $2,000 MORE I was forced to pay when Rick and Tracy showed up, 24 hours late, to move me from CA to MN. Because of these issues I was to receive "the royal treatment". Reject this if it's offered to you as it apparently means "dump everything on your deck and leave, fast." They didn't even UNWRAP my furniture!! Probably because there was clear damage and items missing. If I could do this review with NEGATIVE STARS I would. 5 Star Relocation is fed business by a broker (Atlantic Express in this case) who purposely underestimates the job. 5 Star then comes in and "saves the day" by cutting back what the "real charge" should be. I call BS!!! Are there enough of us out there to start a class action lawsuit? I'm disabled and everyone involved knew I had no additional funds available, above and beyond the original $3,050 "binding estimate" (based on cubic feet; no mention EVER of it being weight-based!) yet I was forced to find CASH before getting my stuff AND I had to borrow a neighbor's truck to transport my stuff from the end of my driveway, at the road. SERIOUS THIEVERY. How can this possibly be legal???
