We used Metro Movers over 17 years ago to move into our new home. We had mixed reviews but overall the stressful move went well. Here we are 18 years later and we are moving again! Scott (owner) called me the SECOND my house went on the status of "sale pending" and said he would send me a yellow post card. He was the only person to call me and send me anything. I called him back weeks later and scheduled our move. I did comparison price shopping and Metro was very affordable! I am shocked to read the negative reviews because I never experienced anything like those other people. We moved a 3000 square foot home with 3 men and one truck! Al, Kenny and Rafael were on time, courteous, called me to inform me of their arrival, professional, clean cut and amazing movers! You can tell they had been doing this for a while. They treated my stuff like it was theirs! They truly cared for my household items and like tetris game packed that truck full! Nothing was broken, damaged and all arrived in perfect condition. They packed the house in 2 hours! When we arrived to the new home, they did a walk through, inspected the best way to move in and went to town! In less than 90 minutes, the entire truck was unpacked and everything was put where I wanted it. They didn't break or damage anything! It was truly amazing and such a smooth process! I am grateful for the experience! In ONE YEAR, we are moving again to our new build and without a doubt I will call them again. I will specifically request Al, Kenny and Rafael and pray that Scott does everything he can to retain them! They truly are professionals! The women in the office were also very patient as I called several times with questions. They were very helpful and prepared me for what to expect! Thank you Metro Movers for a great experience! I would highly recommend!!

Save yourself the migraine & don't use Metro Movers. This company is unprofessional, has unethical pricing, and rude behavior to their customers, especially from the owner Scott. On our move day the movers showed up 2 hours late. We were given a an ETA between 12-3 for our move. The movers showed up after 5pm without one phone call notifying us of their late arrival. The two movers needed to take a break 30min into the move & one mover cramped up & could no longer work. After waiting over an hour for the owner to call in reinforcements, we were finally moved into our new home after 9pm. The production costs us over $390 and the owner Scott offered a 10% discount & to take off 30min from our 9 hour moving experience. He did not return our calls & refused to work with us on the pricing. This company won't last long & Metro Movers has a low score on Yelp for a reason.

We used metro movers to move from a two-story house and I knew it wasn't an easy move. We had a number of large, heavy and fragile items upstairs and the stairway has a corner. I've personally moved things up and down and wanted no part of the aforementioned pieces. Best leave it to the pros.And pros they were. They arrived on time, were dressed sharply, and clean despite the summer heat. They were able to move all of the cumbersome and delicate things with nary (I've been itching for a chance to use that word) a scratch. They worked quickly too, taking little time for breaks - just enough to stay hydrated.Of special mention is that they found space in the truck for a LOT of small items that we figured we would move in the car at a later date. By squeezing every last bit of space in that van I estimate they saved us 10 trips in the car. I highly recommend Metro Movers. They are honest, dependable and won't surprise you with any hidden charges either.

This is an awful moving company!!! I hired them to move me from my apartment in Scottsdale to my new home in North Phoenix. The movers broke a very valuable entertainment center and refused to pay for it. I had to take them to small claims court and they still refused to pay.

I think it's about time I write this review as we just used METRO MOVERS again on Saturday for our 5th time!We hate moving, as most people do and have always used METRO MOVERS except for 1 time....and that was a move from HELL! We went back to METRO MOVERS for the simple fact that we have never had a bad experience with them.They showed up promptly at the agreed time and we got the 2 BEST moving guys we have ever had.ADAM AND STEVE were AWESOME!These guys were not only courteous and polite but they were friendly and helpful and well organized.They worked great as a team and they KICKED ASS and seemed to actually be enjoying what they were doing.Adam and Steve have amazing energy and they even helped me decide where to put some furniture....lolThey took great pride in the job they do and because of ADAM AND STEVE it was an amazing experience!The move was quick...all things considered.I must also compliment the girl who who set the move up...and I apologize for not remembering your name.You were friendly and helpful and it was appreciated.Thank you METRO MOVERS for another great moving experience!
