We just used Metro Movers in March.  I don't know if Al, Connard, and Billy still work there, but I'm sure they represent the type of help Metro Movers strives to get and they couldn't have been better.  We were moving from a two story house with a gym upstairs with very large heavy commercial grade machines and very large heavy Thomasville bedroom furniture, but for them it was no problem.  They were very careful moving from our existing home and into our new home.  They were so patient as they could see we wouldn't be able to re position some of it once they were gone.  They repeatedly asked if we needed it to the left or right was it exactly where we wanted it.  They worked so well together that it definitely instilled confidence.  All contact with the company from initial inquires for quotes was very professional and prompt.  I would highly recommend this company based on our experience with them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

So my review isn't based on service because I didn't get any! My husband and I are in the process of selling our home and have yet to find a new property. I had received a flier for Metro Moves in the mail with 10% off. I usually trash this type of junk but decided to read it. Not only do they offer moving services but storage services too! So I decided to get a quote.I went to the website and filled out all of the information wanting a free estimate. That was 4 days ago. No call, no return email, nothing.Now I live in a 4000sq ft, 5 bedroom home. They could have made a substantial amount of money from us but never even bothered. And most of the worst part of the job is almost complete. Most packing has been done, basically just needed the furniture moved and stored.Oh well. It saved me lots of money, for that thank you Metro Movers!

There are many moving companies in the valley to choose from. However, I would recommend Metro Movers to anyone who wants reliable, reasonably priced, and professional service. The movers were fast and treated our belongings with care. They were polite and made the stressful process of moving easier for us.

You get what you pay for!!! That is my best advice to everyone! This company started out amazing. Very responsive to calls, securing the move and trucks showing up on time. But then it went downhill fast. One mover left the job early due to his back, antique dressers had their mirrors removed (by the movers), but when it came time to put them back together, the correct screws were nowhere to be found. Additionally, they were not going to reassemble the furniture they took apart. Lastly, they damaged antique furniture from the 1800s. The head mover lied about how it happened, even stating that the furniture was disassembled when they showed up at our home. NOT TRUE! When lodging complaints about the damage, it took weeks for the owner to return my call. Funny how Scott was not available to take responsibility, but readily available to secure the job. Due to my weekly persistence to get a return call, he finally relented. He was accusatory stating that I was not telling the truth, and that if I had a antique restoration company fix it, they were going to gouge him on price. I decided in the cash payout route. After we agreed to an amount that 'his repair guy' would charge him, I had to once again chase him down for the check to be sent. Upon the reimbursement arriving, it was 1/2 of the agreed upon amount.We moved in November, claim filed immediately, but just received the reimbursement in February...3 months to cut a check to your customer? That is terrible customer service! The first rule in business, the customer is always right! When you are 1/3 the price of your competitors, just be cautious...you get what you pay for!

Excellent job!  Highly recommend them. The quote was competitive and the team that moved me was extremely customer centric and professional.  There were no issues with packing my possessions or moving them.I had some unique challenges such as having to changing my move schedule to a weekend with short notice  and moving a piano to a 2nd floor loft in my new home.  In all cases the company demonstrated flexibility and the highest degree of planning and professionalism.  Should I have occasion to move again or be asked to recommend a moving company, it will be Metro Movers without question.
