The packers were unprofessional.  They showed up late and did not bring enough packing materials with them. They had to come back a day later and they were late again. The driver (Tony who is a contractor but works for Scobey a lot) was fantastic.  He was competent and knowledgeable.  However I was very disappointed with the packers. Also they did not pack our stuff well. One of them was incredibly slow and purposeful in being slow. Another one refused to pack glass and said that another person in the group had to do it.  There was a little disputed amongst the packers.  He also kept asking me if I really want to take a certain item with me. Very odd and I felt uncomfortable with the group. The manager doesn't have things under good control. I would NOT use them again.

Not a good experience. We've moved eight times with the military and this was our worst move yet. Day 1 they were to be at the house at 9, by 10 no one showed so we called and were told they'd be there soon. They showed up at 1 - with three people for 19,000 pounds. Day 2 they were to be at the house at 9, showed up at 10:30 with 2 people. Day three because hardly anything had been done 5 people show up and hurried through the remainder. I can't even tell you the amount of damage we have - every piece of furniture has some kind of gouge.  Items were dumped into boxes without being wrapped. Dozens of boxes were unmarked, making it that much more difficult when unloading. The only positive experience we had was the crew who unloaded, while they did not care to go the extra mile, they were careful and friendly.  And by the way, we treat our movers very well, feeding and tipping. These guys got zero tip. They didn't earn it.

My 93 year old father moved ALL of his belongings from Waco, Texas to Cornelius, NC.  Scobey Moving was just what he needed.  On time, affordable, professional, and excellent follow up with Amber Williams!  Russell, the driver, was also very professional, and was two days early! :)

Chris & Joe were fun & fantastic movers! You can tell they really enjoy each other's company which in turn makes it enjoyable for the "movee" as well. They work hard & are very thorough. Only two guys for 4K pounds?! Wow!

I have moved over 10 times in the past 18 years for the military.  Tony and his crew were the most professional movers I've worked with during that time.  We conducted a door to door from Ft. Hood to San Antonio, TX and they were completely thorough, careful and respected our plan and requirements during all phases; boxing, packing and delivery.  No issues with any damaged items and probably the best customer service I've received from any professional moving company -- top notch and highly recommend Scobey Moving with a nod to Tony and his crew.
