We've done seven military moves and this company is by far the best we've worked with.  Their attention to detail was very much appreciated as they made custom boxes to ensure that everything was protected.   The whole crew worked quickly and efficiently while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

This was my 8th military move and the WORST! I would never recommend this company. The first day, it was raining, the movers started unloading the boxes and furniture from the street, soaking everything. We had to advise them to back the truck into our driveway so there would be minimal exposure to rain for both the boxes and them. One of the guys on the crew did not want to bring the boxes up the stairs even after we told him where to bring them multiple times over. He would find a random corner downstairs and leave them. They did not put together any of the beds, etc. claiming they would come back the next day. They never showed. Then never showed the next day either. When they finally came back, they took 4 hours for 2 beds then left. They said I would have to put in another work order for the rest. Long story short, terrible customer service. Unprofessional. Beware. Don't use this company. They did end up getting everything done, but 4 days later.

We had the worst unpack ever. Our household goods showed up with a 5 man crew (plenty of people on site to help with the unloading and moving furniture into our JUST BUILT home). However they did not work as a team. They dropped furniture as it was coming out of the crates, completely destroyed our front door and the staircase leading upstairs, were suppose to properly assemble our beds (however 3 of the 4 had to be fixed). They rushed through the job on a Friday morning to go home early. When our 6 month old tempur pedic mattress was delivered 30 mins after the first crew left the 2 guys who brought it ripped a chunk out of the top foam layer under the cover as they were trying to get it off the truck. Hands down the WORST moving experience I have ever had (8 moves in the last 15 years)

If you are military and your transportation pickup is arranged with Scobey, please beware.  This company has horrible customer service and no respect for military personnel; just another paid government contract.  My furniture and my time is important to me. They were two hours late and did not finish until 8pm.  I was late picking up my son from after school.  This company sent inexperienced movers to pack my apartment. Three of the four employees told me they had no idea what to do. I was instructing the young lady how to fill out the forms. I even feed them lunch. These employees were cramming my household items in boxes without wrapping them properly.  My sectional was thrown on the back (the loading lift) without being wrapped.  The driver said the truck was too small and no one answered in the office so he could request a larger truck. He was right.  No one answered that day. NO military transportation coordinator answered or returned my call.   I left messages and even emailed the next day to voice my complaint. Now that I received my shipment.  My sofa is broken in half.  My dining room table is all scratched up.  Lamps are broken, and two boxes are missing.  This moving company does not value customers like me and should be ashamed of their poor service from the initial home inspection to the moving day. It is truly sad they provided my no follow up or bothering responding to my call and emails. I am disappointed. Beware, be warned, and do not use this company.  They should change the name to Scooby Doo and Miserable Moving Company.  This has been the worst moving experience.

Terrible, worst move ever.  I've moved a number of times with professional movers.  This was the worst move.Within the first few minutes Scobey packers wanted to know what of my belongings I would give them.  Many boxes were partially or incorrectly labeled, my instructions on important items to be off loaded early and placed in my office from the van were ignored, etc.  Still looking for items three weeks after the move.  Thousand of pounds of items were not delivered to the correct room and were instead dumped in my garage.They claim they are full service firm.  Until there is a problem, then they tell you to contact somebody else.Beware of using this firm.
