U-RENT-IT-WE-MOVE-U is a licensed, insured and bonded hybrid moving company that specialize in offering a complete range of moving services — from labor only to full service moves — for as low as $49/Hr for 2 Movers, $75/Hr for 3 Movers, $100/Hr for 4 Movers (Labor only w/ 3 Hr Minimum). Movers will provide Free Furniture Pads, Free Shrink Wrap and Tape, Free Furniture Disassembly and Setup, No Stair Charge, and Fuel Surcharge starting at $25 (to get movers and equipment to your location). Moving Packages are available starting at $219 for 2-Man Express Move (includes 24' foot truck, 2 Movers, 2 Hrs — this package is Great for furniture pickup, delivery and setup). 2-Man Apartment Moving Packages start at $279 (includes 24' foot truck, 2 Movers, 3 Hrs). 3-Man House Moving Packages start at $449 (includes 24' foot truck, 3 Movers, 5 Hrs). Long-Distance Moving Packages start at $1299 (Includes 26' foot truck, 3 Movers, 10 Hrs Labor, Up to 150 miles).

History

Established in 2010. U-RENT-IT-WE-MOVE-U moving labor service was started after a friend that worked for Uhaul told me how their customers would always ask if they knew someone that needed extra cash to help them load their trucks. At the time I was going thru a financially draining divorce so I asked my friend to send their customers to me and the rest is history. Since then I quit my job as a courier and bought over 100 furniture pads, dollies, tie-down rope, and tools, and hired professional movers that work for major moving companies. Currently U-RENT-IT-WE-MOVE-U has moved over 740 people from 10'x10' storage units, on up to 7000 sq. ft. mini-mansions, and moved customers around the Greater Houston Area and as far as Hamden, Maine.

I've moved cross country and across town. I've used the big van lines and the little local guy. These movers on my move from Houston to Dallas far exceeded any other mover I have ever used. Kind, courteous, careful, and they worked their butts off on a very hot humid day. If I could give them 6 stars, I would.

First: I've only written two reviews in my life. The first was for a burger that changed my life. This is the second. I had a 3-legged move including a house full of stuff that was to be moved and stuff that wasn't. Tim, Tito, and Larry handled my frazzled crazy with communication, punctuality, professionalism, kindness, humor, hard work, and a price that cannot be beat. I cannot find the words to express how their service calmed me and released even just a little of the pressure of this emotional move. They were, simply put, perfection. As long as they are in business, I will use their services. #customerforlifeMy sister (the first stop on the trip) adds this comment:They were incredibly personable and professional when they stopped by here for the bedroom furniture. Absolutely top notch! If you don't use Tim and Nash for your move you're missing out. They moved us from Houston to Corpus Christi in the brutal heat of summer. They worked non-stop and even kept a sense of humor about the whole hot mess. We could not have asked for a better experience. These guys deserve ALL the stars!

U-rent-it-we-move-u was awesome. I used them back in July when I moved from Katy to Memorial. (Dead Heat of Summer!) I chose them because of positive yelp reviews, plus they were competitive rate wise and offered a 3 man crew. They did a wonderful job moving my stuff, even though it started pouring right as they finished. They were about an hour late outside the arrival window, but they checked in regularly to let me know they would be late and let me know when they were on their way. It was summer and I was the 2nd stop of the day I believe so stuff happens.. All the guys were super nice and friendly. Very professional. I would absolutely use them again.
