Student Movers

After my mother passed I was bombarded with offers to help move things from her home to a moving truck; however after asking if those offers were still valid I found that they had stipulations and were not going to be as helpful as the offer first promised. I hired Student Movers thinking hiring professional movers would be quick and painless as long as I have the everything prepared. The gentlemen that came to help me in my time of grief (Pero, Mac, and Kornealius) were timely, efficient, and had my truck packed in no time. They packed my truck so efficiently that I had extra space available! Pero even made sure that my boxes were secured to safely travel across country home. Next time anyone in the Houston area ask who they should hire to help them move I'm suggesting Student Movers and I'm telling them to ask for Pero, Mac, and Kornealius. If you don't ask for these three gentlemen then you're wasting your time and money.

I am due to drive from Houston to Washington DC area tomorrow morning. I scheduled a Advance Apartment Movers ahead of time but 4 hours after the scheduled time, they still did not show or call to insinuate any issues with traffic or a simple acknowledgement of their ETA.I called Student Movers and to my surprise, they stepped right in at the last minute and took on my move.  I was informed of my drivers ETA through dispatching and received a call from the driver himself.  I was feeling discouraged by the no call no show from the other company but the upbeat personalities of the two gentlemen from Student Movers will forever be in my memory. They did not allow me to lift a finger, they moved swiftly, gave me advice as to how I should properly secure my items during my drive to Washington, cracked jokes and most importantly... turned my terrible day into a wonderful night. Most people who have great service do not take the time out to acknowledge a job well done but in this case, I couldn't go without saying it! My apartment was finished in 2 hours exactly and I am able to sleep well knowing the hard part is compete. I appreciate the professionalism from the dispatching all the way to the drivers/movers. You cannot please each and every person you come across, this should be understood when dealing with different personalities and this profession. I highly recommend their services. I would use them again if I were not moving to another state.

Just had a job completed by Pero and John, and those two gentlemen are the reason why I use student movers. The professionalism and their hard work ethic made our move so much easier!! They came in and got right to work!! And they worked extremely fast, so fast that they were done and I was like wow that was fast!!!! Awesome company, awesome hard workers, and great job at making sure the customers are satisfied!!!

Pero and Chris were unbelievable.  They hustled all day and moved our house like it was their own.  5 Stars all around.  Highly recommend.

These are worst movers I have ever had!!! And believe me I have moved 6x in the last 4 years! I was referred to this company by my realtor and I did check out a few reviews and saw some negative ones which I ignored. Big HUGE MISTAKE!! First they called and came way earlier than the scheduled time. I was not ready and they offered to help. One of the guys was seriously limping and Right there I was not at ease. I asked him if he was okay to do the move since he was limping so bad. They were suppose to be 2 guys but they were 3. So I ignored that concern. Sane guy dropped a box with stuff in it down the stairs and the box completely fell apart and had to be wrapped up. I had a brand new washer which already had a padding wrapped around it as I stored it in the garage. They took the padding off and didn't replace it.To cut a ling story of mishaps and horrible story short; they broke about 5 pieces of stuff, chipped my wall clock, tore my custom headboard and not to mention the mysteriously missing stuff. The worst of it is how long the move took! They took time to smoke crack in between the move, and possibly compete on who did the less work. They would come upstairs one after the other holding a piece of side table or an item a child could hold in their hand!!! The 3rd guy who was the driver never lifted a finger! The 2nd move from the storage to the apt he didn't even show up! Left the 2 incompetent crack heads to destroy my property! Pls do not use this company for your own good! Read all the horrible experiences. The scratched the door to my brand new apt as well which Im hoping i wont be responsible for when Im moving out. The stuff they destroyed and the ones missing cost way more than the price I even paid! Just ridiculous! Sad thing is this company apparently outsources all their jobs(according to one of them) I'm not sure if thats true, but I'm sure there are other teams or employees who work there and may be better than the ones i got.  I will post pictures for your viewing.STAY AWAY!!!
