Established in 1997. Student Movers Inc. has been in business for 20 years. We are fully licensed, insured, and have an A + rating with the Better Business Bureau. Our corporate office, is located in Southwest Houston off of the Westpark tollway near Fondren. Our north side office is located off of the 45 North Freeway near Tidwell. We currently have 30 moving crews on staff who are expertly trained in moving your home, apartment, office, or business locally or anywhere across the United States. Student Movers Inc. is Houston's most dependable moving service and we will provide you with enclosed moving trucks, shrink wrap, moving blankets and pads, and disassembly and reassembly of your furniture.Our experienced movers are known for being friendly and professional. I have moved many times, international, cross country and in town. This is the worst move I have ever experienced. Eddy showed up on time and the crew went through the house like locusts, wanted the bathroom, ice, and my girlfriend's phone number. Eddy demanded payment in cash, the crew left items behind, and damaged and broke several items. They also backed the truck into a gate, destroying it. Eddy didn't want to report the damage to the office.Filing a damage claim was a nightmare. Talked to three people over several weeks. Received a call from Tiny on Friday night at 8:30 who informed me my claim was denied and the company was owned by lawyers and I could sue them if I wanted. An hour later, Tiny had all the information regarding damage and agreed to pay $30. The gate is still not fixed and no progress has been made to repair it. Use this company at your own peril!

They don't respect your house or your walls enough said. Your not saving money once you factor any broken items , scratches on walls or furniture. They are not students either but that's besides the fact. They were nice which is the only thing positive I can say about them. Don't do it.. They also want you to pay in advance before they ruin your walls so worst case you get pissed off and they leave. Use them at your own risk

This was my first experience using movers and I was thoroughly impressed!! My sister recommended the company, having just recently moved herself and they did not disappoint. Scheduling the move was easy and the company makes recommendations based on the size of your house. So they suggested a 2 man crew and a 24' truck. The movers were quick, personable and efficient. I was about 20 minutes late for my scheduled time and they patiently waited for me. They asked all the right questions and quickly got to work. Overall, the move took 2 hrs and 45 minutes (moved to an adjacent subdivision), and it was well worth it for the price. I would definitely use them again!

I used student movers last Friday for the first time and they were great! Shawn Jones and Blake Cornwall were my movers. They called me when they were on their way and arrived at the beginning of my 9-10am window of arrival. They moved quickly to load and unload everything and student movers is such a great price you can't beat it!

This was my third time to use movers and was by far my most positive experience. Pero and Carlos were my movers and they did a fantastic job. They were fast, reliable, and stood true to everything that they said. If you are considering moving in the Houston area, I would without a doubt call these guys and ask for Pero and Carlos. Also, the hourly rate + mileage was by far the best deal I could find in Houston!
