Great experience with Righteous Movers!  I moved from one 3rd floor to another 3rd floor apartment and my things arrived in good condition.  They arrived on time and finished the whole move in a timely manner.  Wrapped my furniture.  No complaints.

Do not use them! They basically wanted detailed inventory of everything we had to move to determine a price. I'd found a Groupon to use, but it was only for an apartment, not a home (not mentioned anywhere in the Groupon). They allowed me to use the Groupon hourly rate, but made sure I knew how great of a deal I was getting. They were late to our 9 am appointment by three hours because they scheduled a move before ours that ran late. Once they got started, the move from house to storage  seemed to go well. Or so we thought. When we moved from storage to new home (with better movers), we saw all of their mistakes. Bed slats, their screws and support posts were lost. My U-shaped office desk set was ripped apart instead of unscrewed and taken apart the correct way, making reassembly nearly impossible. Boxes had been thrown into spaces between the desk pieces causing more damage. The list just goes on. Needless to say, we won't ever use them again.

I should have read the reviews before i called them. For those interested, they changed their phone number to (713) 283-2668. They told me they will be at my house at noon. They called to say they are going to be late by half an hour, which was fine. Half an hour later, no show. I called them and they say they are going to be late another 45 minutes. So i wait for an hour, still no show. I called and cancelled.

I regularly volunteer at the Houston Food Bank and almost every Wednesday, I see this moving company truck out here. I had a BIG move coming up and was still in need of movers. I decided to give them a try! I spoke with Jerrell, he told me that he and his movers volunteer at the food bank for his childhood church. How great right!  I told him I had a BIG DIFFICULT move coming up and would like to use his company's  moving services. He reassured me that no move was too big or too small, he gave me a business card, directed me go online and fill out a move form then he briefly let me know how the moving process would go. I later filled out the form he contacted me and answered all the questions I had, very informative professional guy. He came out to see my house and we set the date for my move. Moving day came and they showed up 25 minutes early, which was perfect and Jerrell and his crew NAILED IT!!! It went so smooth! I was soo impressed by how hard and fast yet gentle these guys worked. These guys were great!... GREAT! I will be recommending anyone I know who needs moving services to these guys.

I'm a little late with my review but we were looking for a team of trustworthy, quick, and professional movers. To be honest, I was extremely skeptical with these reviews and in my head there isn't a mover like what others have described (had many bad experiences). I mean these reviews are a little bit too happy for just a moving service, but I totally see why it was necessary. They were more than great, they were about 10 minutes late but that's just because of the morning traffic, but when they arrived it was move move move! Within 15 minutes my place felt much emptier already. I had to call my partner and express my disbelief. They cared a whole bunch about our furniture, wrapped stuffs that needed more protection, made sure we are comfortable with things, etc. I would say more than what I asked for when I called them over. They were very VERY affordable, so much so we felt cheap for paying $300 for 3 hours of quality moving service with 2 guys, so we hiked up the tips. $400 for everything. 1 bedroom apartment full of stuff. It took much longer only and only because of the retarded elevators at our building. But we confidently believe they could have done much faster than that. Very genuine people, strong (they pick up my dresserful of clothes like lego blocks), I will most definitely use them again even for out of state moves that we're planning in the future. It wasn't like an- oh they're moving just a mile and half away and we came in a big truck we gotta stretch some time to earn more- attitude. They came with alot of dollies and a HUGE truck. This is the kind of business I will not hesitate to support or be too happy about. So there you go!! Thanks Righteous moving service.
