Update!!  Moved again less than a year after using these guys the last time. Same great experience!!!  Very friendly and easy to work with. Our guys were respectful of our stuff and the house, and were very careful going up stairs and not bumping the walls. The price was lower than other movers and well worth it.  I hope it's a long time before I move again, but at any rate they will still get my business. Sure glad I found these guys!!Moving is a total pain and we had so much to worry about. But they were on time, incredibly respectful of our stuff, very professional, super friendly, and worked fast!  I was worried about it all fitting but they knew what they were doing and were on it and got it all in the truck safely and securely. They got our two bedroom apartment loaded, moved, and unloaded from one spot to another all in about 3-4 hours. Nothing was broken or even slightly damaged, and I thoroughly enjoyed their company. I can't say enough good things about the experience and highly recommend them!

One more 5* For Righteous Movers and I have several reasons for this.Booking process took only 5 minutes, and he was able to explain me all the details of the moving process from Sugar Land, TX 77478 to Houston, TX 77077 BJ Chatman recommended to hire 2 guys and one 17" Ft truck.Movers arrived 15 minutes before actual start of the move and prepared the truck for the job. Everything was included in hourly rate e.g. moving equipment, tape, plastic wrap, moving tape, wardrobe boxes and regular boxes (5 different sizes). The movers were real pro, provided the service on the highest level.  Among all local moving companies on YELP this company is the most reliable and responsible. In Houston there are so many moving companies that provide a good moving service, but if you are looking for the best movers and the best moving service, you should definitely choose Righteous Movers Moving Company.

They moved me again today!! Again, very pleased, very professional, exceptional service.  Arrived early and they were quick and efficient. These men mean serious business.  I have used their service and everyone I work with uses their services.  They are consistent!!

PLEASE look at the reviews that are filtered here on Yelp! It might say "reviews we don't recommend" but when you read them for Righteous Movers you will see a totally different picture.  We moved from Sugar Land to Austin in the later part of January 2015. I researched up to 10 moving companies. Some wanted to just give us a basic broad price range on line. I sent our moving inventory list to each company.Three of the movers wanted to come to the house and see exactly what we had to get a clear idea. We narrowed the search down to two companies including Righteous Movers. Jerrell followed up with me both in email and in phone. He also quoted me a flat rate. NOT by the hour, or mile, or mover. One rate, including tax. So, if it took them 6 hours or 16 hours it was for the job! I called Jerrell and told him initially of my concern with the YELP reviews. His earnestness, and his integrity, and man of his word showed through and did not disappoint. He also offered additional time/day to us and came over the day before, with a fantastic professional and well experienced crew and wrapped things, padded, and professionally and UBER carefully prepared our Baby Grand piano for the move. THEN came back the next day to load the HUGE truck and make the move to Austin. It was soooo smooth and they were quick, friendly, honest, and we spent 2 days just trying to stay out of their way! On the move day, it began to rain. The movers NEVER left our stuff outside AND still continued to load and even soaked themselves to the bone gave our belongings such care, and magical loading. We still can't believe how well they packed that truck! We could not have been more pleased! Even when we got to our new place in Austin, the distance from the truck to the Apt. was quite a bit further than we thought and with the rain , it took the crew a lot longer than had been planned. AND a trip (expected) to the storage unit made for a really long day for the movers. Jerrell never said anything about time or extra effort. Because we are also honest and have integrity and appreciation for the movers we certainly increased our "tip" and payment to them. Jerrell would not bring it up, and nearly wanted to refuse it since we "had a deal". I never once felt like it was about MONEY for him. He genuinely cared and exceeded any expectations. When we move from this apt to our permn condo, you better believe we are gonna call Jerrell and Righteous Movers.
