I had a great experience moving with Righteous Movers. I had to do a very quick long-distance move to California for a new job and from the phone consultation, quote, and movers showing up to my apartment everything with smoothly. They are competitive in pricing. The movers were very professional and knowledgeable. I planned to move my items in a upack container, which is very challenging itself, and the movers strategically packed all my items in the very small space. They also wrapped my TV and other fragile items for me in a way that they wouldn't get damaged (which was extremely helpful considering my move with upack -- but that's for another review). If I were to ever move back to Houston, I would definitely use them again.

I've used them three times (2 story homes).   They quoted me lower than 3-4 competitors.  Strong and careful movers that were easy to work and had a positive attitude throughout a hot summer day.  Highly recommended!

Had a decent experience with moving a piano back in 2014.  Good price for that, and did a good job.Recently (Feb 2016) used Righteous Movers to move from a rental house to our new house.  Wish we had gone with someone else, even though they had decent prices, the quality was poor.  On the day of the move, they called and pushed the move time from 9am to 3pm (they hadn't looked at the list of stuff we needed moved and were doing another house move that morning).  Jerrell said he'd give us a discount for the trouble, ok cool.  So we moved a lot of small stuff ourselves.  When they arrived in the afternoon to move the big items, the movers were noticeably tired from moving the other house earlier in the day, less careful with our stuff, and were out of tape and packing material so had to use ours (lucky we had some extra).  Multiple items damaged when moved into the new house (probably damaged in the truck since it seems they weren't tying things down, and/or when the set/dropped them down on the ground.  One guy literally dropped a small tool cabinet (luckily not something very nice) onto the garage floor right in front of me and the drawer popped out and he didn't seem to care.  To top it all off - when they were re-attaching the music holder to the piano, they dropped a screw down into the strings of the piano.  We tried to fish it out but were unable to with pliers, magnets, etc... They said they'd send someone out next week to pull it out.  2 weeks and we didn't hear from them. Called them about it and the discount/refund we were promised and the story changed.  No discount/refund, and now the movers said that we dropped the screw down into the piano!  I tried to sort this out with Jerrell on the phone multiple times, but he kept pushing things out and brushing us off.  I gave up and wont use or recommend them again. Not righteous.

Let's talk about how righteous this moving company is. First you renig on moving me 2 weeks before my actual move date. Not Righteous. Then all of a sudden you can. Then you showed up 2.5 hours later than your expected time frame. Again. Not. Righteous. You are very unprofessional. And I would NEVER recommend your company ever!!!!!!!!! A righteous person is moral and virtuous. All of which your company is not. Thanks for nothing. God Bless.

Absolutely NOT! As I type I'm supposed to be moving except there is no mover or truck at my place. Called Jerrell to confirm and his reply was "that was today?". If you need more compelling evidence to support NOT using this company add to it the fact that after he said he would call me right back, he never did. I ended up calling him to let him know I had found other movers. I'm in disbelief that someone would leave you high and dry on moving day. This is the most unprofessional experience I've really ever had. If it was up to me there would be ZERO stars.
