In moving from one unit in the apartment complex to the next, this moving service was selected. The movers promised great service and protection of our rental space, they even assured us they would lay blankets/tarp to prevent damage. Friday came and they were to come to the unit to move our boxes over. Finished product? I wish I could give a negative amount of stars!!!!! First and foremost, the movers did not have anything to protect the rental property! When asked about the blankets/tarp the response was "oh we forgot them in the truck." What?!?! You can't go back and get them?!?! When they moved the boxes to the next unit, they stacked them on the counter tops sky high! My husband had to help me take them down just to get my son's cups! Items marked kitchen were placed in the bedroom, this was just a complete mess. The ultimate issue? They left scratches on the wood. Within the hour of noticing this we filed a complaint and submitted paperwork with pictures. What is the business response? "Our workers said that was there, we took pictures in advance?" Ohhh really?!!! Please show me those pictures.... cricket... cricket... cricket... NO RESPONSE! If there was damage, there should have been a discussion or some sort of documentation done in advance to protect the company, no? This company has a complete lack of professionalism and I do not recommend them under any circumstances.

Whoever in Canada is running the company is heartless. The way they have treated my mother and her belongings is appalling. I am more than disappointed in the service. I am disgusted. For a company to treat anyone let alone a single mother of four the way they have for pure greed is unbelievable. To give a brief overview of their service, they did less than deliver on what was oringinally promised. They damaged many belonging and are extorting her now for more money than was agreed in addition to not holding any accountability. My advice to anyone considering them. Just don't. The reality is not a cheaper price.

Used their service twice. Very professional. Come on time. I have used their hourly service. They try to finish as early as they can. They take care of delicate stuff. Know how to fill stuff in a small cubical. Very happy with their service.

I am giving Nationwide Movers 1 Star only because there is not a place in the rating that shows me a Negative 100.  I have moved many times over my lifetime and I have never had a moving company refuse to pay for damage of my property after the employees Destroyed my Full Glass and Mirror Curio Cabinet.  As they were moving it into the truck on a rolling 2'X2' flat square with 4 wheels, they hit a bump and I heard a crash!  All my Glass Shelves fell and hit the bottom of my Curio Cabinet and they Shattered. In all the times that I have moved in and out of town, I have had only 1 other incident when the movers had broken items and this Very Professional Moving Company told me to get estimates and they paid me in full, right away.  I feel Nationwide Movers should step up to the plate and pay for the damages that their employees done.  I spent over $1300.00 on this move for them to destroy a Very Expensive Item. Also, 1 of the 4 guys that moved me broke the glass top to on of my end tables and never even told me.I AM WARNING EVERYONE IN HOUSTON, NOT TO EVER USE "NATIONWIDE MOVERS" on SHEPHERD, TO MOVE THEM!!! I wish we had checked Yelp before going with this company. Those movers torn up some of my furniture( ripped couch, busted bookshelves), scratched up a lot of furniture(tops of dressers and night stands), and lost pieces to several shelves. When they got to my house they were shoving boxes wherever they felt and ended up breaking a door stopper that was screwed into the wall. My husband found these guys and signed the paperwork that said the movers were not liable for any damages. I'm pissed. They took longer and charged more than what we were quoted and then tried to negotiate with us on the amount of work they had to do. The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because outside of the things that were badly damaged, everything else was moved perfectly.
