DON'T HIRE THIS MOVING COMPANY. This company lost 2 of my TV sets, lost my headboard, and broke my furniture and kitchen wares. There was a delay with the delivery of my stuff from Texas to NY so that clearly broke our contract. They are very unprofessional. It is difficult to communicate with them. They cost us a lot of money, stress, and they don't care about anything other than making money. They need to be put out of business.

Zero stars if i have to. They came and picked my luggage not on time. They made me wait whole day until late night at 9:30 pm they came to pick. When the guy came, he was alone while another guy was just sitting inside the truck. My friend had to help this guy put all the luggage inside the truck. What is the use of such a service if we have to put the luggage inside. I kept asking for receipts, but never got it till date even after delivery. I am sure they have something written wrong inside to save on taxes. They don't accept cards and only cash..which sounds fishy but I had no choice as I already paid advance through card in the beginning to a broker in between.Suddenly after 9 days this guy calls in the night and tells me that my luggage will be there tomorrow at 9 am and i have to pick it. I am so much shocked that this guy threatens me to take my luggage or else he will charge more extra or take my luggage with him elsewhere. I kept telling him that how can you give me such short notice but he never listened. I even had opted a 30 day storage service which I had already told the broker. And broker told me everything is in place and truck guys will come and pick it up. And now suddenly he tells that he wont store it because i never mentioned in contract. I do not understand where did this contract came from. My talks were with the broker. It was so much frustrating to argue with him. He was bluntly threatening me that he won't give my luggage unless I pay them before unloading. And he told me that if i do not get luggage by 9:01 am which is 1 min after 9 am, then also he would charge me. That's such shit !!!  I can;t believe there are people like this who treat there customers in this way. I don't know what else to do as my luggage was hostage to them. Finally when luggage arrived, everything inside truck was so untidy, nothing in place, my boxes were lying here and there, some on top and some at the bottom of someone else's furniture. I had lot of my things broken, my boxes were torn and some were even badly molded. I lost two boxes and when i asked those guys there faces were clueless. They do not know how to even speak in english. I was not able to communicate with them and they lost my TV and another box. Even now I am trying to get my lost boxes even after 2 days. They do not respond well. No one is showing interest and even the broker who did this whole deal do not help me properly. I am tired of this whole drama. The whole reason i opted for this move was so that I am comfortable. But looks like this is way more headache for me than if I had done the move by myself renting a truck. Today I again messaged the truck guy and asked him if he found the truck and his reply was - "Not yet. I'm not a superman yet". Wow...I am speechless but yet i gave him my answer - " Please reply politely. I am not here to fight with you. Let's not behave immaturely".So this is what happened. And rest assured I definitely won't find my boxes. My next steps is to claim hopefully if this broker(ezmovingvanlines.com) responds.

BEWARE! Used this service through a broker (EZ movers) out of West Palm Beach, FL. They were there to pick up the load as promised. From there, it quickly went downhill. Shipper refused to send the load across the country. Still no furniture after a month after moving to new residence. Both shipper and broker are totally evasive. Holding your furniture hostage! Ricky (owner) is a scam artist. Currently pursuing legal action and fraud charges through the bank. Avoid this mover! The move was paid in full, now he has our money and all of my possessions. Won't be long before the BBB pulls his business license.

STAY AWAY. This has been a terrible experience. I did not even choose this company. United Movers (also terrible) hired them without my consent and now I'm paying an extra thousand dollars to get my furniture (a month late) because of either 1) a miscommunication on Unite to Houston First regarding what services I needed or 2) Ricky at Houston First knows he can hold your property hostage for a month and you'll have to pay whatever he asks.Both are probably likely, I started a new job in a new state 3 weeks ago. I have been sleeping on my floor with only a duffel bag of clothes and regular promises from United through Houston that my stuff will arrive "around the beginning of the week....for several weeks.  STAY AWAY

It's unfortunate that this company hires people who excel in the credit card fraud industry.  Imagine me checking my statement when i saw two charges for this company.  Interesting since i don't live in Texas. When i tried to call to speak to a manager, i was told "NOPE" and was hung up on.  Are you even a moving company??
