Gabriel and his team came in and started off strong right away amazingly helpful kind and professional. I'm definitely planning on using them again and highly recommend Gabriel and his crew

H Town Movers were the BEST. Very nice, professional, quick, and worked hard from the second they got their to the second they left. Lenin Garcia and Michael were the guys who helped us. Ask for them. I couldn't ask for a better job. Everything was packed tightly and they handled everything with extreme care regardless of weight (like my 7 boxes filled vinyl record collection).

Website says quote "Absolutely everything is included in our rate (truck, gas,blankets, wardrobe boxes, unlimited wrap and tape)" After the initial phone conversation, woman said that there would be a "$50 gas fee" When I told her about the website quote, she said "oh, that only includes 15 miles" I'm moving to Katy, not Austin I said, but I reluctantly agreed, and then she tried to hit me up for some other nonsense fee and asked for a credit card number. I told her that I was not interested in getting "fee'd  to death" and terminated the call. Sorry folks, when the website shows a higher per hour fee than most other movers, I expect not to put up with nonsense like this. This is a shame, as they got very good reviews for their service, but as a business owner who prides himself in transparency, I will not use this company. CK

Review has been update based on the response of the owners to my complaint. I booked H-Town Movers based on Yelp reviews for the move-out of my 3-bedroom house. It looks like most people have had good experiences, but I did not. The good:  The crew arrived on time and stayed past the 4 hours I booked. Everything was moved from my house. After my complaint was made the owners of the company contacted me and made sure to compensate for items that were broken or unusable due to them not being packed correctly. They also said this crew is no longer working with them. May or may not be true? Either way I was happy with the response. I understand that stuff happens. The bad:  I requested a 4-man crew, but only 3 men arrived. When I asked why there were not 3, I was told I ordered a 3-man crew but they still tried to charge me for a 4-man crew. In the end, I produced the email of the rates and was charged for 3 men. The moving crew sent to us  was slow and unorganized. They were unprofessional and did several things unnecessarily as a 3-man group instead of splitting up the work and getting it done efficiently. For example, they all 3 decided to take a crib down together. 1 of them removed the screw, another held the pieces, and the other just watched. In addition, several of the pieces (the feet of my bed and screws) of our furniture were just left lying around instead of being either secured to the larger pieces of furniture or left in some type of packaging. I have NO IDEA if we have everything we need and/or if it is all packed since everything was not together and we have not moved in to our new house yet. Needless to say, I will not be using them for the move into our new house.

The arrived on time, reviewed the terms of their service and got to work immediately.  These wonderful men made the most of the time that we were paid for.  We began at approximately 10:00 am, made a second trip in the afternoon and were done around 5:00 pm.At the end of the day, they had more energy & smiles than we did!
