I used these movers for the first time today. They were on time and friendly. Two men helped me move from the first floor to the third during a hot summer month.They were drenched in sweat and worked really hard to move me. They were also honest. I left a nice necklace pendant on the nightstand and they brought it to me. That meant a lot to me. I would highly recommend them. Just keep in mind that if there's stairs involved add another 30 minutes to the time. Also pay in cash, it saves you money, $9 an hour. Don't move during the summer if you can avoid it, there will be sweat all over everything.

Hector and Lenny showed up right on time, knocked it out in 2 hours and were on their way. Excellent, easy, punctual, and reliable. They placed everything in the portable storage unit outside my house and fit everything in perfectly and securely. Couldn't have been better or easier. Tips to the home owner/ renter: be ready for the movers to get to work. I should have been more prepared with what goes in my car vs. storage unit. I thought I was pretty close to done packing but unless ALL the small stuff is in a box, you're not packed. I'll be more prepared next time. Also, make sure to have the tension straps and tape readily available.

While there are MANY movers in the Houston area, it seems that their schedules fill rapidly. I choose to have my mother move from the Northwest and needed help unloading her stuff from a large moving truck into storage and my home. The problem was that she was delayed and we had a five hour window of time to unload before I had to fly out of town. This was a stressful situation, in addition to the already stressful ordeal that moving is.I contacted many movers and H-Town was only one of four that responded. The one that I had used in the past was booked, another seemed to just keep sending "boiler-plate" emails, and the other was also too busy, but wanted to earn my business too.H-Town had a quote a little higher than the one I had used in the past, but said that they could commit to the time and place with three men. I paid a credit card deposit on the phone and they immediately emailed a receipt. The workers showed up early the next day and immediately got to work. They were extremely professional, organized and friendly too! There was some confusion a few times about where certain items would go (my house or the storage), but they just dealt with our [dis]organization. It seems that this was not the first time that they experienced this. Additionally, they were finished exactly on time, so there were no surprise charges. I will call H-Town Movers next time that I need movers, for sure!

Good- very prompt response and quick to schedule. The guys were super fast! Miguel (I think is his name) was amazing. Bad- honestly, the only annoying thing was when I called to change the number of men. I was previously quoted something $30 cheaper than what the guy said on the phone. It was a little upsetting because I felt like he may have been trying to take advantage. Thankfully I had the email saved!Tip- be sure to have everything packed and arranged for the guys to take! And take things apart if you can. Definitely saved a bunch of time.

Michael, joe, Enrique did an excellent job. On time, lots of hustle, and didn't damage any of our items.
