Excellent moving service!! I would recommend to all my friends moving into new homes and not bad with prices either. I got 4 quotes from different companies and East end was almost half of what I was quoted by others!!

East End Transfer & Storage was the booking agent for our last move.  We've relocated long distance several times via professional movers but this move was like a nightmare.  Packing was scheduled several weeks in advance and to be done in two shifts: non-essentials the week before loading, essentials the day before loading.  Non-essential packing was done on schedule.  The day before scheduled loading, the packing crew for the essentials didn't show.  When I called I was told they were finished.  No, they still had a full day worth of packing to do.  They couldn't be rescheduled until the following day which pushed loading back a day - which pushed our cleaning and final walk-through back a day.  After the truck left and we began packing personal items and items they don't move, we packed things the packers missed - such as an entire bathroom and linen closet.  The truck - it was not a moving van!  It was not only a standard over-the-road trailer, it was an old second-hand trailer that had the previous lettering whited-out!!  We had no choice.  We had to vacate our residence and we were told it was the only trailer available - even with scheduling a full-service move weeks in advance.  According to the origin agent, East End approved it.  Apparently the trailer was dirty inside or leaked because several boxes at destination were oil and grease stained.  Our belongings rode over 1,000 miles in that trailer.  One book box arrived so covered in oil/grease that it had to be left in the garage.  What was in it?  Hardcover books and the album containing our wedding pictures.  Not all boxes were oil or grease stained but almost all of them were dirty.From the start, we requested delivery for the day after closing on our new home.  At first, nothing could be promised but she'd try.  OK, we get that.  The day after the truck departed with our belongings, however, we were confirmed for our requested delivery date.  At last, some light at the end of the tunnel.  Nope, when that day arrived, nothing else did.  We had to call to follow up only to be told delivery wouldn't be until the following day.  It was presented happily, like we were going to get a Saturday delivery at no extra charge!  Hooray!!  We should be thankful, right?Damage?  Unfortunately.  Several thousand $ worth.  A formal dining room arm chair came off the truck with an arm broken, completely shattered from the chair on one end; scratches, dents, chips, and gouges in various other wood furniture pieces; a deformed filing cabinet; broken kitchen items that cannot be salvaged; and cracked china - a discontinued pattern.Never. Again.  I'd sooner piggyback it all across the country.

What a thorough, professional moving experience this was.  We had a small shipment... and from start to finish, our move was handled quickly, efficiently and on-schedule.  Everyone worked hard to make this move as pleasant an experience as moving can be.  No hassles or problems and all was as promised.  Bryan did a good job estimating the load; Josephine was amazing with contact, follow-up and communication.  Our driver, Bobby was very organized and pleasant;  he easily took charge and set an impressive standard for the crew to follow.  Xavier handled our shipment with enthusiasm, care and strength. I can highly recommend this moving company.

My entire experience was great!! I moved from a 3rd floor apartment to another 3rd floor apartment 30 mins apart and they had it all knocked it out in less than a day. It was a very painless process from the beginning to end and the crew was great. I would highly recommend the team there and I will be using them again in August!!!Highly Recommended!
