4 My Kidz Movers

Where do I start with this company.  I called an received a quote $201.00 with $50.00 down. I should have known something was wrong when I got an email to pay "Movers Express" but ye the company is called "4 My Kidz Movers.  I was given one price and that is what I was prepared to pay. Veronica is a very nice lady.  However the way the business is run is trash. You will pay more than quoted so be ready.  I suggest to not use this business.  The day of the move: Guys arrived on time.  I was moving from a 2 bedroom/2bath apartment.  It took them 4 hours to load my things on there truck.  I got a call from my mom stating that needed $301.00 more dollars.  I called Veronica and was explained that the move was going to take more than 6 hours, basically 8 hours.  Bull :-(.  So all in all I paid $601.00 :-(.  I get another call that the movers broke my glass to my table and now they broke my headboard to my bed. I called Veronica again and explained to her what happened.  She said let me call and see what is going on.  She didn't call me back, my mom called me back.  She told her movers to give my mom $20.00 for the glass.  Really? Yes I did decline insurance and was told that the company will pay 6% if something is broken.  I called Veronica back again and told her how I felt about the $20.00 given to replace my glass.  She tells me that a frame or mirror to be replaced is $30.00.  As I explained to her that a glass to my table was broken. I called back to my mom phone and spoke with Art (mover) and explained to him how I felt.  He agreed and stated he would call Veronica and see what to do. All I want is to be fair and to be given $20.00 is not acceptable. Veronica so i professional thst she got her movers to call me and chose to not answer my calls anymore. Smh I say this to say: Do not let the nice voice fool you.  I suggest NEVER to use these people again.  Yes I am going to report to BBB. BAD BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

An A-1 moving company, the staff was very professional and friendly. My move was during a time when parts of Houston had flooded, but it didn't stop the crew from coming out and moving me. The owner even came to meet me personally and a sure me that the job would get done. I don't anticipate moving again for some time but when I do I will be giving them a call.

AVOID! I would not use this mover to do anything. Long story short, the mover was over an hour late and didn't once call to tell me why. I guess this is the quality of service you get when you hire someone from Craigslist. Here is my experience with this mover. Veronica, the phone operator and move organizer, was helpful and seemed nice. I called her around 10 AM the morning I was planning on needing help unloading a Uhaul truck (1 bedroom apartment worth of furniture). We worked out a deal and we booked the laborers to show up at my residence from 4-6 PM the same day. She said it would be no problem. 4 PM came around and no one showed up. 4:15 PM I called her and asked if the movers were coming. She was confused as to why the movers weren't there yet. She explained that she was going to reach out to them and get them to call me. Okay, sounds like a plan Veronica. 4:30 PM Veronica calls and she still hasn't been able to contact the crew, and they have not tried to contact me. I call her back at 4:40 PM and tell her I am going to cancel the move. She wanted to reach out to the crew one last time. Ok, I am a patient guy, but my patience is wearing thin at this point. The crew finally calls me at 4:45 PM and says they hit "unexpected traffic" getting to me and won't arrive for another 20+ minutes (who knows if this is the case). I explained to the gentleman that I was canceling his service. I will move the furniture myself. If he thought that they would be late, the least they could have done was call me and explain the situation instead of keep me waiting for an hour. In the middle of the conversation the gentlemen on the phone said "whatever" and hung up the phone. It is the 21st century. Check the traffic. Leave at the appropriate time. If you can't get there in time, call your customer and give them a status update.All in all, avoid this mover and hire someone PROFESSIONAL.

4 my kidz went above and beyond to help me move my son. We had another moving company (Pro movers)lined up to move him @9 am then @ 2pm and again @ 5 pm. They never showed up and we had to keep calling them. I was @ the end of my rope so I called 4 my kidz and although it was late in the evening. They stepped up and came out and moved my son. They worked well into the night to get him moved they worked until almost 11:00 pm. The next time we need someone to move us we will definitely call 4 my kidz moving company. The two young men were very nice helpful and polite.
