I do not understand why this company has low reviews. I asked for a quote via Thumbtack not only were they the quickest to respond they were also the most affordable! After reading reviews I decided to get more quotes from other movers but they were double the cost of what 4mykidz was! I could not afford it so I decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did! Veronica on the phone was very prompt professional and explained all charges. On Sunday when the movers came (2 men and a truck) they called when they were on their way they were courteous and thorough and did not damage anything. I did have to make a deposit via PayPal to hold my appointment but it was credited to my total. My move was fast and efficient these boys took no downtime. And the move came in way below my budget. Thank you for great service!

Moving team was excellent.  They arrived early which was a plus. They were very efficient, respectful and  courteous.  They padded and wrapped everything. They took great care of my furnishings. I would recommend  them to anyone. Thanks for the great experience! ** WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE* *

Extremely unprofessional crew! They arrived extremely late,  disassembled my bed,  then lost the screws to reassemble.  Did they care? Nope. They shrugged and wanted payment. What moving crew doesn't have a dolly?? What a sight moving my furniture downstairs without a dolly..And I'm sorry,  I'm not paying you to smoke cigarettes on my time. Long story short,  you get what you pay for. I found these folks on Craigslist looking to save a bucks over the tried and tested moving crew I have always used. I see there are rave reviews on here from other ppl,  but their service is a hit or miss at best.  Mine was a miss.

DO NOT USE them!! I had a confirmed appointment with them at 6:30pm. I confirmed with Veronica several times and kept calling/texting to make sure they are coming. Just 15 minutes before they are supposed to show up, Veronica called me and said their truck is unexpectedly not in working condition and need to take it to a mechanic. You have only ONE truck ?? and NO backup?She was supposed to call me back, and update me asap. When I called her back after an hour, she said the crew cannot make it  and would let me know if they can help me move next day. ARE YOU SERIOUS? I packed up everything and my apartment was a mess. Although I was not mad, and asked her to call me back asap when things get fixed, she never ever called me back. Luckily I found another mover but I had to pay extra for the last minute appointment. These people are very unprofessional. If you want to save yourself from trouble, NEVER go with them

If I could give zero stars I would. This review is long overdue, I used these movers on September 1st but I'm just getting a chance to write the review. Upon booking I was asked what I needed moved, I accurately stated that I had 15 storage bins, a mattress with box spring, a television with TV stand, and some clothes that I wanted moved without having to take them off the hangers; I was assured that a clothing rod would be available, but guess what happened on moving day...you got it, no clothing rod available. That wasn't the worse part however...the appointment was set for 9am but they arrived at 3pm! Veronica said there were some issues with the truck (that's what happens when you don't have your own equipment) but the problem was they were not communicating AT ALL, I had to keep calling them! After about a 4 hour delay I asked for a 50% discount, they only agreed to 30%, then when we arrived at my new residence there was still 15 minutes let on my 2 hour contract and before those 15 minutes were even expired they were already asking for another $80 for the next hour of service! I told the movers to unload my property on the curb and sent them on their way because I refused to give them anymore money for their service. My advice is not to use them at all, there are more professional businesses available (with their own equipment) but if you do use them make sure you have your start time WRITTEN ON YOUR CONTRACT because they will do this BS "assessment and truck prep" (which by the way if you're 6 hours late the truck should already be prepped) and make sure the movers are moving EVERY second of the time you are paying for. They look for any reason to charge you extra, you have been warned!
