I moved some things from San Diego to my college-aged daughter in Fort Worth.  Everyone I encountered and spoke to over the phone was helpful and easy to work with.  The trailer was dropped off early and then picked up right away when I finished packing.  The delivery in Texas went just as smoothly.  They even called to see if I'd like my things sooner.  The transit time was very quick.  The guys helped me get the ramp set up upon delivery and removed the bulk head so I didn't have to wrestle with it.  Awesome service.  They exceeded my expectations at every turn.  As a side note, I needed the trailer removed by the end of the day in Fort Worth as the city does not allow trucks on the street.  Brandon at ABF made sure the trailer was removed even though it required the driver to work after hours.

Our experience with U-Pack trailer service was not an issue, and went as expected. However, Moving Staffers their partner packing service was completely awful. They charge by the hour, and what should've been a 4 hour job took over 6 hours. At the time we were fine with paying extra, as they assured us this was to ensure our furniture was packed well to avoid injury. Unfortunately we had extensive damage on over totaling $5k, including the TV, refrigerator, multiple tables, chairs, and our dining room table arrived in 5 pieces. We had provided the requested packing blankets and straps and at no time did the movers express any concerns with the materials they had. When contacting the company they offered only $50 to compensate for damages. What a joke! For the amount of money they charge, use another packing company.

I wish I could give this company a 0!!  They sub contracted my move to Old Dominion who completely damaged my furniture then refused to pay for said damaged!  STAY AWAY!!!!!

I am so disappointed in this moving company. I waited all day today for them to deliver a U-pack and they still haven't delivered it. They were suppose to bring it between 12-4 pm and when we had called them they said they would show up at 1-2pm. We waited and then called them back at 2:30 to see where they were and they told us that they were behind so they would have to come at 3-4pm. Again, they don't show up and don't even have the decency to call and let us know. It was 4 so we called back again (thank god we called) and they told us the truck broke down and they wouldn't be here till after 5... It is almost 9 pm now, they still haven't showed up, and I am unable to cancel because the office is closed. I'm calling tomorrow and GETTING MY MONEY BACK. How can I trust a company to handle all my belongings when they can't even show up to the scheduled appointment? By far the worst business I have ever dealt with. I will be getting a UHAUL tomorrow and I would highly recommend them over this place. In the past, my family and I have never had any trouble with using UHAUL so that would be your best bet in my opinion. I thought U-Pack would be easier, but boy was I wrong.

First time using them, and everything worked out great!  I quoted several moving companies, but they we so expensive.  We decided to have them drop the container, and hire the moving guys to professionally pack the truck  (the companies they suggested on their site).  Worked out perfect, we saved money, and had the moving guys pack the truck in California.  You have to supervise them, but at least they do a better job than most of us can do.  Once we reached out destination in Texas, I called and hired moving guys again, usually it's about 40.00 for two guys per hour.  We ended up using them 1/2 hour over, but for around 100.00 it was well worth it to have someone else move and carry everything each way.Hope this helps.  I would use them again.  Customer service was pretty on it, and I had a communication issue once I reached Texas and management was nice enough to help with the situation/problem.  To store the container for 1 month is 500.00, so it's a little costly if you need to do that, but I guess they are not in the business of storage, so I assume that's why it's so high.
