I looked online as I normally do for Yelp and found these guys.Yelp didn't disappoint and thanks to my fellow Yelpers.These guys showed up on time, and did the work Carefully, Respectfully and Efficiently.There is NO way I could have filled that truck as good as they did.They made our day so great, as the previous week, we had been left high and dry from the movers I had used via the Uhaul group, no bueno.Thanks guys, hope lots of people read this review and you continue your success!Thanks!

We just found out that we are moving across country and Tom really helped with underwhelming our situation. He took my call, answered all my questions and was upfront with costs and what to expect. I really appreciated the time he took to help us out.

EDIT:I guess I wasn't very clear in my review. I did not give this company 2 stars because they were late as the owner seems to think. I gave them 2 stars because it took 5 hours to move only the large furniture in a one bedroom apartment, and I felt we were overcharged for services. I hope this review aids in improving overall customer experience in the future - including follow-up.________________________________________________________________________Here is my long story short with these guys....- Were able to accommodate a Saturday move when I called on Monday - Estimated arrival time between 3&4- Received a text day of that they were running "a little behind". No problem. - Arrived 3.5 hours late! This means they didn't get to our place until 7:30! This was after a call at 6 saying they'd be there at 6:45. - At hour 1.5 my fiancé called Tom to complain, and negotiate a lower price, but his phone was off. He left a message which now two days later goes unanswered. - Took 3.5 hours to move only large furniture out of our 1 bedroom apartment. Mind you I expected 2 hours for the ENTIRE move. (Credit where credit is due: our elevator is slow... but 3.5 hours?!?)- Now we're livid. Tom's not answering his phone, and we refuse to pay these guys for 5 hours of work for a 1 BEDROOM apartment. It is now 11pm and my fiancé and I start moving stuff FOR these guys. - Now we realize why they're so slow. There is trash in the truck and furniture that needed to be moved to make room for our stuff. Another guy seems to be lost on how to get out of our building. - When all is said and done and we're moved into our new place, it's midnight. The good: no damage to our apartment or new home, and they ended up charging us for 3.5 hours (still more than I wanted and expected). The bad: everything else, including our cancelled Saturday night plans for my fiancé who gets one Saturday night off about once every two years  since he works in the restaurant industry, and the extra $$ we spent for our dogs to be boarded overnight unexpectedly. Definitely do not recommend these guys!

I hired Move Pro on 7/6. I paid $295 for 3 hours. When I asked for a receipt, I was told I would get it either the same day, but more than likely it would be the next day. I called Tom at 8 am on today and was told I would have it no later than 9:30 am. I called back at 10 am and again at 10:30. Tom, the one who normally  answers stopped answering my calls. On my break I called him from my coworker's phone and guess what, he answered the phone. I introduced myself and he has no idea when I will get the receipt. I need the receipt for business purposes. Never in my life I had to wait this long for a goddamn receipt. Update: To reply to your comment Tom:  It should never take 48 hours to get a receipt. I should have gotten the receipt on the SAME day. The move was not flawless. You were unprofessional, yelling at your helper who probably was your son and plus when you arrived at the original location you were arguing loudly with someone that lived in the neighborhood. When you and your helper arrived at the second location, you had him to fold blankets in the middle of the move, instead of moving my stuff out the truck first and plus you were on your cellphone half the time. PROFESSIONALISM DOES NOT DESCRIBE YOU. The only reason I got a receipt is because I threatened to call the IRS on you and advised you that I reported you to the BBB.Update: You are showing just how UNPROFESSIONAL you are by going back and forth with me on here. Kudos to you!!

I am writing this letter to voice my complaints and concerns about how I was scammed by The Move Pros a moving company that is run by Thomas Wayne Stephens II. On June 26th, I found the Move Pros on the internet and spoke to Tom. He promised to provide a trailer big enough to move a 4- bedroom home in one move and quoted 4 men to do my move at $ 145 per hour. He scheduled my move for between 8 and 9 on July 3. On July 3, his worker called and pushed back my move until noon. Finally, at 1:30 2 guys from his company showed up with a smaller trailer stating that Tom had taken the larger trailer to Florida on another move. Gabe informed me that 2 men were late and we would need to do two trips, in order, to move my stuff. When I complained, he called Tom who told him to charge me for two men price of $85 per hour until the other 2 guys showed up. Tom then called back and spoke to me saying that he would make things right by only charging $75 per hr. with the two men and the $145 per hr. would start when the other 2 men finally showed up, also he promised me to take an hour off my time at $ 145 per hr. for all the inconvenience they had caused at this point.   The other two guys showed up at 2:30 and Gabe informed that $145 per hr. started at that time. These guys were unprofessional and rough on my stuff. They left my belonging to ride up and down the elevator of my new apartment unprotected. They were constantly taking break which I assumed would not count as loading time.  Finally, they got the second load on the trailer and got to my apartment to unload around about 5: 30 pm, when the driver informs me that Tom need to speak to me. Tom gets on the phone and informs me that I need to pay his driver $970 ,in order, for his men to unload my belongings.  I was very upset to say the least but before I could even rebuttal these crazy charges. They closed up, the trailer and rode away with my stuff. I called 911 and made sure they could not leave the apartment complex until the police got there. I could not believe they were holding my belongings for ransom.  My math told me that at that point I owed $ 75 for the first hour with 2 men. Then 3hr. at $145 and they still to unpack the trailer and put the stuff back together. And Tom had promised an hour off my bill at $145 per hour. So, I figuring I owe $ 510 if they can finish in another hour. The police came and said they could not help as it was a civil matter so I was forced to pay $ 970 to these crooks who didn't even finish the job by putting back together the stuff they took apart. To add insult to injury numerous items are missing and my daughter bedroom set was totally destroyed, both my sofas are damaged, my Glass dining room table is scratched and chipped beyond repair. The damage list continues with numerous scratches and chips on the living room tables, and the fact my wife's new mattress was dragged down a dirty  hallway rendering it filthy and ripped.   This has been a nightmare of a moving experience and I only moved across the highway. I had to pay someone to put my stuff back together and yes, we have pictures of all the damage. If it were possible to give this company a negative rating I would give it a negative 10. May the Buyer Beware.
