I called around to have a washer/dryer set moved from one apartment to another, under 1.5 miles in distance, all elevator buildings. Strongarm gave me the lowest quote, and came through. On the day of the move, they told me they were running late, but they ended up being only about 15 off schedule. They actually picked up the set and had it at the destination before I realized they were even there. They were able to set everything up and were really nice and polite. Based on my experience I'd definitely recommend them for a small move like mine.

Strongarm service was great. The two guys moving me out of my apartment were very nice and presentable. All of my belongings were well cared for and arrived in great shape. I would use them again.

Due to our continuing discontent with the apartments we were living at, we decided to finally get out and move to a better place. But since it was only 9 months earlier that I called my friends to come help us move, I really want to go a different route and hire movers for the first time. Now, what I didn't realize is how hard it would be to chose the right company as it seemed like every moving company in Dallas was known for subpar service. Thanks to Yelp, I found Strongarm Delivery & Moving and after a reassuring conversation with Mac, I hired them for our moved on April 1st. Start time was going to be 8am and the morning of we get a call from Mac letting us know that due to traffic, he was running late. Appreciated the heads up since we were doing some last minute packing. He finally got in and he and his 2 workers got right to work. They managed to clear out & move over 25 boxes (ranging in all sizes) in about 20 mins! The workers were pleasant and very courteous and made sure to wrap our furniture carefully so there wouldn't be any damage. What I also really appreciated was no cell phone breaks & no smoking. They came in professionally and took care of business. They even helped take apart and set up our baby's crib and our bed with no complaint. While it did take a bit longer than I expected (which obviously would cost more) I had no problem paying them accordingly due to the outstanding service they provided. Dallas and any surrounding cities, if you need quality movers at a decent and fair price, give Mac at Strongarm a call. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I was very impressed with the service given by this company. Strong arm Services is a professional moving company with only a few minor issues.I took away one star because I found their client communication limited. I was not informed they would be late (mechanical issues) and I had to track them down to figure out why they were running late. Later I was phoned by the driver with more updates as I waited for them to arrive with a new truck, which was great. However, I did call them the day before to suggest rescheduling because I was not sure I'd be ready and no one returned my call. They need an answering service to take client calls and they need to get their website back up and running because it would be a shame if all of these issues added up to the loss of a sale. The company was great, but the competition for inner city movers is tough here, so be the best you can be!Thanks for helping me move, Strongarm Delivery. Would I call them again?  It depends on when you ask me the question.At 8 am when my appt was suppose to go forward, yes. - pre-scheduling was easy and handled via email.4 hours later while waiting for them to arrive, No - No initial communication as to late arrival almost made me cancel the job.After services were rendered...YES.- Very Professional Employees, quick but not so fast they endanger themselves or your property.--------------------Note: this company advertises primarily on Craigslist. Do your homework when deciding on a mover. I chose Strongarm because of the good reviews, a good bbb rating, and their license/insurance numbers were immediately handed out upon first communication.

The fact that they could move me last minute to Houston because my other movers were so unprofessional and late so I canceled on them, I will give them another star. The two guys the owner Mac sent were so slow. They got lost coming to my house because one guy didn't know how to use his GPS. Then they were about to move my white leather couch without even wrapping it up. I had to tell them to wrap it! One guy said he didn't know how and he's new to moving. Like what?! I had to help them wrap most of my furniture because they were moving so slow. He was nice and worked hard but still.. The move into the house in Houston was swift and quick. It rained hard that day and it took me 5 hours to get there but the truck still arrived when I did so that was good. Nothing broke BUT when I used my washing machine, it flooded my entire kitchen and some of the living room because I was upstairs!!!! I was so pissed. They didn't connect the drain pipe. They told me everything was good to go! And he didn't even email or call me back to apologize!! I tipped them well too. Maybe look somewhere else
