History

Established in 2001. Legacy Moving Services started in 2001 in Naples, Florida. Our company actually started as a small vending company, however, all of our customers kept calling us thinking we were a moving company. With the amount of calls received and my knowledge in delivery and warehousing, my wife and I decided to take on moving in addition to the vending company. Almost 20 years later and 2 young children, we are still moving items locally, statewide and across the United Sttates!

Way over priced! They charged me $3000 to move me out of a 2200 SF home to a home that was roughly 10 miles away. The system they use to load/unload their trucks allows them to charge you for extra hours since you have to pay an hourly rate. They broke several pieces of my expensive furniture and then told me that if you read the contract closely that they only have to pay me 6 cents on the dollar for anything they break. The first item they broke was a piece that costs $150 to purchase, the owner said that I had to first pay him the $3000 fee and then I could expect a $9 check in the mail from him since they only pay 6 cents on the dollar for items they break in the process. The company only takes cash or credit cards and they charge you an additional 6% of the cost of the move if you chose to use a credit card. For me, this added an additional cost of $180 to the already overpriced cost of the move. I would not recommend this moving company. Moving is stressful and this company will only make your move more stressful!!

Doug and his team are more than excellent. I hate moving but they really made this experience enjoyable! They moved me from Plano, TX to Atlanta, GA. I couldn't have asked for better service! Doug communicates well and his team is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, personable and HARD-WORKING. I have already told them when I move again they will be the only company considered! They were fast and efficient and always communicated with me. They took extra care of my items and were extremely accomodating! They go over and beyond which is something you don't always find! Put your search to rest and go with Doug and his team! You will never consider anyone else. AMAZING!! Doug thank you and your team again!
