History

Established in 2001. Legacy Moving Services started in 2001 in Naples, Florida. Our company actually started as a small vending company, however, all of our customers kept calling us thinking we were a moving company. With the amount of calls received and my knowledge in delivery and warehousing, my wife and I decided to take on moving in addition to the vending company. Almost 20 years later and 2 young children, we are still moving items locally, statewide and across the United Sttates!

They guys showed up on time, when they were scheduled to be there, they worked hard, and got the job done quickly, cleanly, and professionally. I have been a customer of Legacy Moving Services for about 10 years and have used them several times. Doug, the owner, is very easy to work with and has done some jobs with little notice. His crews work quickly and are careful to use blankets and shrink wrap when needed. I also believe the pricing is fair. They have moved me from home to a new home a few hundred miles away, from a storage unit to another facility's unit including a stop by my home, from a storage unit to an apartment, and most recently everything for my children's new apartment that was delivered to my home. Next, I plan to have them move furniture in and out of rooms that are being painted. For whatever your unique needs are, Legacy Moving Services is an outstanding company to work with.

The absolute worse moving experience. It goes back to ownership, organization. I went with them because my dads retired Army Colonel. I've given owner a month to make right since he said he was on vacation but promised to get back with me. I moved 2 intersections over, 1800 square feet town home that didn't have a lot. Took them 9 hours to load, 1 dude left for hour. Meanwhile you're paying hourly, 125 per hour. My bill ended up @1300 bucks just to load and provide 3 day storage. To unload it was 400. Better crew. Plus 50 dollar tip for each person. Meanwhile they dropped my 32 inch TV that was new. I had a heavy, solid dresser they dropped on concrete completely chipping off wood beyond the stain. New blender just bought for 200 no longer works and all 3 computers fail to come on. I assume temperature of 350 storage for 3 days damaged these. Missing entire boxes of dishes and clothes. I paid and tipped which was outrageous. Max this should have been 4 hour load, 4 hour unload. Loading had 1 guy that was suppose to be off so he was mad with attitude. Owner never made this right so I intend to share far and wide, stay away.

Do not use this moving company if you want your stuff damaged. The movers that showed up to my house were careless they scratched my walls and dining room table. When I called the owner about the damage he was very unprofessional and did not want to pay for it.
