I cannot say enough good, things about the move I just had with Adelphia!I was moving from Philly to DC and couldn't decide if I wanted to do a self-move or hire movers. A self-move would obviously be cheaper but I had an awful experience the last time I self-moved so just thinking about it stressed me out. I talked to a few local movers but wasn't comfortable with the pricing and then a friend suggested I post on Thumbtack.Adelphia contacted me immediately after I posted, offering me an amazing flat rate price. I talked to them on the phone and said I'd call back with a decision which only took minutes after seeing all of their positive reviews across many websites. So, I called right back and said let's do it!The process was simple and they were extremely prompt at answering my emails with questions I had. I was nervous since I had never hired a mover this way, but they took all the stress out of my move. Expecting the crew to come between 9 and 10, I was very pleased when they showed up before 9! I showed them the different staging areas I had of boxes and they got immediately to work. About an hour later, the truck was fully packed and ready to go!I got to DC about a half hour before the crew but once they showed up, they were just as efficient as when they loaded! And about an hour later, they were completely done and on their way! The entire process from start to finish took a mere 5 hours, I was totally shocked!Dave and Terrence were pleasant and professional, I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience with them! This move was so super easy and I would gladly hire Adelphia again if I ever need moving services!

I was offered a partial refund to modify my previous review and I was assured that the guys who moved me were fired. So, I can say that the follow-up customer service is decent. However, had I not issued my initial review on Yelp, nothing would have been done at all. Even after I communicated the issue to the Company, they did nothing and I had to put out $200 more to finish my move. For a total of $880 for a one bedroom apartment.

Starting with Erin, my contact in the office, who I must have made crazy with my date changes and move-to address changes, yet she was always pleasant and accommodating. When the day of the move finally arrived, the 3 men (Dave S., Justin K., & John P.) who did my move, showed up on time, worked very quickly and efficiently, and were always courteous and careful with my belongings. They arrived at my home in Bensalem at 9:45 AM , and the job, including a 2-hr. drive to my new home, was completed by 3:15 PM. They totally exceeded my expectations, and their prices are very reasonable. I would use them again, even if I moved from my new location to another location outside of the Phila area. I highly recommend them!!

I hired Adelphia Movers for my move based on their yelp reviews this past weekend and was very happy with them! I had to move from a 4th floor walk up to a 3rd floor walk up and needed them to hold my belongings overnight as I had a 24 hour time lapse between when I had to move out of my old apartment to when I could move into my new apartment. They handled all of the logistics exceptionally well, were very pleasant and easy to work with, and everything ended up in my new place intact! I would definitely recommend them if you are moving!
