We all know that moving is stressful and overwhelming. I was lucky to find Adam's Moving and Hauling because they made my move as painless as possible. I highly recommend them! The entire process was seamless. After I sent in a quote request Kevin got back to me right away. He answered all of my questions and responded quickly to my emails. I have to admit that was I very nervous leading up to moving day. I have a LOT of stuff and was coordinating the whole thing by myself. I was moving from a two bedroom third floor walk up to a one bedroom second floor unit with what feels like a half mile from the elevator to my door (I also had stuff put in a storage unit in the basement). My movers, Garvin, Pedro and Alex, arrived at the scheduled time and called me when they were nearby. In spite of the fact that this was probably one of the biggest pain in the ass moves they've had in a while (lots of stairs, a ton of stuff and long walks), they were all VERY patient, friendly and hard working. They took great care in moving my furniture. They worked great together as a team; everything was very organized and efficient. Because I was so anxious about the move the thing that stood out the most to me was how patient and attentive they were to me. I think it would have been easy for them to have become exasperated by this particular move. If they were, I never saw it. I am very thankful to all three of them for making the day easy when it could have so easily been overwhelming. I found the price to be fair considering it was a three man crew, 26' truck and door-to-door service. I priced out renting a Uhaul truck w a moving team and found Adam's price to be comparable but with much less stress. The estimate provided by Kevin was exactly what I was charged, we completed the job within 15mins of his time estimate. The only thing I would do differently next time is spring for extra boxes.  I had a lot of odd sized items that I didn't box and it would have made things easier for the guys if I had been a bit more prepared in that regard. If you end up choosing Adam's Moving and Hauling, I hope you'll be as pleased as I was!

I have used this company before and had a great experience. I moved from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom and they sent 3 movers and everything went very smoothly and ended before the quotes time. Last week, I called and requested a quote and provided as much detail as possible--I have a 2 bedroom apt with about 50 boxes, a queen sized bed, dress, 2 nightstands, a couch, chair ottoman, coffee table, 2 end tables, a tv, 4 floor lamps, and 2 table lamps. I literally went room by room with the company. I was quoted $540 for a 3.5 hour move from my apartment in King of Prussia to Center City. The movers showed up late, there were only 2 movers, and  they ended up taking 5.5 hours. my $540 move turned into $817. I will never use this company again and I would suggest you not use them either.

The movers arrived a little later than I expected, but they called and let me know they were on their way which was appreciated. The movers were efficient and friendly. They made my move very stress-free when moving is so stressful typically. The cost was a bit more than I was quoted, but I also probably underestimated all the items I was going to have moved. Overall, they were very helpful and made my move very smooth. Definitely recommend them.

Garvin, Pedro, and Carlos did a great job moving our four bedroom home in mid-August.  They were punctual and professional.  Worked very hard the entire time they were at our home.  Carefully loaded our items and took extra care to wrap all furniture items.  No dings, no dents, no broken items.  Adam's was very easy to deal with and the quote was right on target with the final cost.  They were excellent and I would hire them again in an instant.  Highly recommended.

Just had three movers assist with a move which included a piano... the guys were awesome. Friendly, efficient, and took good care of my stuff. I chose them because they responded quickly, the price was competitive, and they had the clearest and most detailed quote of charges out of all the businesses that replied. There was not a single "surprise" fee or charge at the end of the move. I'd highly recommend them.
