Established in 2012. The recession and job losses in our family is how My DAD and ME 4Hire was born. Moving help quickly became our most requested labor help. So we decided to go with it. Our reputation and the referrals from previous customers has helped our company to grow and expand from a Dad and his son into Generation Movers. We feel very blessed and excited to be able to employ additional local workers who are friendly, knowledgeable, and tenacious! We want to be your movers for Generations to come.

Who rates moving companies? Seriously. But Brian and Joe from Generation deserve some kudos. We were moving from our home (3 BR, 3 flights of stairs) into and apartment with two floors.First of all, when I called, they actually offered to save me money. If I rented my own UHaul, it was $60. If they did it, $150. They told me this. Saved me money. Love it.Then, promptly on a Sunday at 8am, Brian and Joe showed up with moving blankets and a bunch of shrink wrap. They covered all my furniture in plastic, the wood furniture in blankets and wrap, and they knocked it out in 3 hours. No damage, no issues. Just a quick, easy move.They were friendly, conversational, but professional. Not once did they stop to take a break, chit-chat, they just moved through the house like terminators in hoodie sweatshirts, hauling my crap around.Highly recommended.

Mike and Joe handled my move from generation movers inc. They showed up on time with a truck that had more than enough space for all of my items. They handled all my items and furniture with care and efficiency. There was no damage and they were in and out quickly. I'm definitely glad I chose this moving company and would recommend. Very courteous and professional.

I had such a great experience with Generation Movers and for me to give 5 stars is outrageous. Joe and Scott were my movers. They were very careful with my furniture and quick at moving it all. They moved a bedroom set, sectional, and a super heavy dining room table. I will definitely be hiring them in the future and recommending them to friends and family!

Great team. They squeezed our move in last-minute. They knew we were on a budget (time-wise) - and not only did they work quickly, they also prioritized what they could and could not do in the short timeframe we were trying to work with.Very professional, very courteous, and very good at what they do. I would have no hesitation in hiring them again, or recommending them to anyone.Thank you!

These guys were great! I moved to Plainfield from St. Louis and hired Brian and his crew to help me unload the truck! In less then 2 hours they had my 24 ft truck and additional trailer unloaded, all my furniture in place, and all my storage boxes moved to the basement! They made it very easy and efficient! I will use them again!
