Established in 2012. The recession and job losses in our family is how My DAD and ME 4Hire was born. Moving help quickly became our most requested labor help. So we decided to go with it. Our reputation and the referrals from previous customers has helped our company to grow and expand from a Dad and his son into Generation Movers. We feel very blessed and excited to be able to employ additional local workers who are friendly, knowledgeable, and tenacious! We want to be your movers for Generations to come.

I was moving from city of Chgo (goldcast are) to Darien il. Decided to use them after reading rave reviews.Ryan & Jake surpassed my expectations!Not only are they professional; knew what they were doing but coordinated with each other on moving pieces like a well orchestrated symphony. They literally moved me out of my condo in less then an hour! Even the doorman asked for their biz cards because he was shocked they were done when signing out!They shrink wrapped all my possessions that weren't boxed with pads as well to protect during travel.They made moving look effortless even while handling a huge armore that weights a ton!I'll be honest the nite before the move I had anxiety because of the magnitude of boxes & due to the the fact I was moving into a 2nd floor condo with no elevator. Theses guys made it look like a piece a cake; Ryan even ran up stairs with boxes on his back (no kidding) PROS!!!I'm not one to move a lot but wouldn't hesitate to use them again & definitely recommend them!Moving can be stressful but honestly these guys took the stress off with how meticulous they were with my possessions!Thanks a million RYAN & JAKE you guys are the bomb!!'

Outstanding service. This was the perfect company for our move. We have used Generation Movers twice. Once to load a storage unit, then to unload at new home. We thought about hiring a local company for the area we moved to because there is an additional travel charge for these guys, but after seeing how well they loaded up our stuff, there was no doubt about hiring them again. This company is well worth that extra travel charge.

Do not, I repeat, do not, search any further! These are your movers!!! I am late in my review, but these guys (Alex and Scott) moved me last year. I had a horrible experience with a big moving company a couple years prior (damaged furniture and scratched floors, ended up with them reimbursing me some money...it was that bad). I was nervous but really needed the help to move furniture. Oh my gosh, is it possible that movers CARE about your stuff? Alex and Scott did. They were careful, very fast, and hilarious joking around amongst themselves and me. Made a stressful time enjoyable! If I could give them 100 stars, I would.

I have used a variety of movers in the past that I was happy with, but Generation Movers deserves an additional shout out. Ryan, Jordan and John came on Sunday to help my mom and I move a 1 bedroom apartment into a storage unit. They were so easy to work with and super fast. I was quoted 2 guys, but they brought 1 extra guy to get the job done. I support local businesses and these guys delivered! Highly recommend using them for any of your moving needs. Thanks guys!
